We each had an appetizer and a meat-based main course. The food was delicious; you could tell the ingredients were high-quality, and it was beautifully presented. Some of the meat-based main courses were also unique and different from those at other restaurants. Finally, we also had a dessert tasting, which was fantastic! The staff was attentive and helpful with everything. The wait times were perhaps a little long. The restaurant is in a very convenient location for visiting the historic center. The atmosphere is average, but a bit noisy when there are a lot of people.

We were passing through Chieti and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance: I have to say, not bad. Aside from the slightly "cloudy" service (nothing dramatic), the experience was overall pleasant. The meatballs and arancini as appetizers were really good, as was the house wine. The first courses didn't disappoint either: tasty and well-prepared. Especially for vegetarians like me, this restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious options, and I felt quite comfortable (I mean, I didn't have just one choice, you know). The bill? Very fair. The only downside: it was a bit warm inside. And I, who don't do well with high temperatures, let's just say that if there had been a fan, I probably would have hugged it. Aside from that, I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Chieti!

We tasted the Abruzzese chitarra pasta, the grilled meat with a side of Avezzano potatoes washed down with a quarter of red wine, everyone was happy and content.

I went to the Teate restaurant in Chieti for dinner on a Saturday and had a truly excellent experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is very friendly. I was completely satisfied with the food I ordered; every dish tasted great and was prepared to perfection. The wait times were reasonable and the prices were fair for the quality. I would definitely return.

We returned to this place because the restaurant offers good value for money, but the pizzas leave much to be desired! Wouldn't I recommend it?

One of the best restaurants in Chieti, great food and well managed

I went for lunch yesterday with my partner. The place is clean, welcoming, and tidy, run by a friendly family, and the staff is always helpful, including the cook. We ordered two portions of bruschetta with meat, one with peppers and one with scamorza, and then two first courses of spaghetti alla chitarra teramana with veal meatballs. Everything was really good and high-quality. Good prices and satisfying portions. It's always nice to walk into a place and feel the love for their work. I recommend it to everyone.

La prima cena in questo ristorante storico di Chieti è stata più che positiva. Il locale è molto accogliente. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e veloce. Squisite le uova con bastardone e salsiccia di fegato. La tagliata di controfiletto Uruguay ottima e servita benissimo. Dessert una piacevole sorpresa.
