We went here twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times the food was excellent. This is a family run business and we were treated as family. Matteo, the owner’s son, was very helpful and provided recommendations and was very patient as we practiced our Italian. We will have to come back during our next trip to try the pizza as we heard it is very good.

We've been eating here for the second year in a row during our vacation. Not only because it's incredibly cozy, inviting, and authentically welcoming, but also because the food is prepared with so much love and passion that you can immediately taste it. The staff always smile and work incredibly hard to ensure every guest has a perfect evening. I find it absolutely fantastic here—delicious, fun, and truly wonderful. For me, this restaurant is definitely one of the highlights in Chieti.

We had dinner at this tavern on Saturday evening.
The welcome was friendly, the waiters helpful and friendly, and the chef recommended typical Abruzzo dishes.
The food we ordered met our expectations. The wait times were reasonable. Good value for money.

Excellent and typical restaurant serving traditional Chieti cuisine. Everything was delicious, and the location was beautiful. The owners were very polite and helpful.

Satisfied to say the least! The place is old and well-kept. The food is simply exquisite, everything tastes good. I had both a first course and a pizza, and I was so happy! After coffee, a sudden thunderstorm hit. While waiting, I had the second course of Uruguayan hangus sirloin, something incredible!

La prima cena in questo ristorante storico di Chieti è stata più che positiva. Il locale è molto accogliente. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e veloce. Squisite le uova con bastardone e salsiccia di fegato. La tagliata di controfiletto Uruguay ottima e servita benissimo. Dessert una piacevole sorpresa.
