It's a small restaurant where you have to book in advance, otherwise you won't be able to find a table. The food is excellent, with tasty, traditional dishes, generous portions, and very kind and helpful staff. I recommend this place to anyone who loves traditional local cuisine.
I always come to visit them every time I come to Modena.

We arrived at 12:30 without a reservation; unfortunately, they only had seating outside. The food was very good; the only downside was eating outside, which, despite the heat, meant we still had to wear jackets. I recommend making a reservation to eat inside, as it was very good.

An excellent restaurant where you can dine in classic Modena style. The place is welcoming and the decor is very warm.
The two waiters, one South American and one blonde, were exceptional, very friendly, and professional.
The appetizers of yellow gnocchi were plentiful, and I was particularly surprised by the salami, very flavorful and delicious.
The first courses were also very good, not overly seasoned, in fact, well-balanced.
I recommend the tagliatelle with rabbit.

This trattoria is located in a back alley in the center of Modena. The dish, which combines tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, as the restaurant's name suggests, is simple but delicious. The Modena specialty fried bread, gnocco fritto, topped with prosciutto, is a perfect match with the locally produced Lambrusco and is absolutely delicious! The staff are also kind, and if this restaurant was in my neighborhood, I'd come every day.

The tagliatelle here are absolutely the best in Modena! The pasta is cooked exceptionally well! The tagliatelle with rabbit ragù is out of this world. It's also one of the very few places in Modena that's open for lunch. Being a small trattoria, reservations are practically a must. Very friendly staff. A well-deserved 5 stars!

We stopped at this trattoria on the way back from Florence. It's located near the center of Modena, serves traditional Romagna cuisine, and the staff are friendly. Excellent value for money, definitely recommended.
