16/01/2026: A good restaurant in Sappada to eat at. On weekends, you'll almost always find a line and have to wait about ten minutes, but it's worth it.
We returned here for the second time to eat the Linzertorte, which was very good.
The pizza was also light and easy to digest.
25/12/2025: I've been to Karl's Keller twice, both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and I can say without hesitation that it was a wonderful discovery.
The food is simply amazing. The pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten: perfect dough, quality ingredients, and a great balance of flavors.
The cold cuts and cheese platter was fantastic, rich, fragrant, and full of flavor: you can immediately taste the freshness and care put into the selection of ingredients.
The first course was excellent, but a special mention goes to the venison steak, truly fantastic, tender, and cooked to perfection.
But what makes Carl's Keller truly special is the staff, including the owners: genuine, kind, attentive people who make you feel welcomed and at home. It's not just about eating well, it's about enjoying an experience filled with warmth, smiles, and passion for what they do.
A place where you'll gladly return, and where I will definitely return.
