Found by chance, the Sottocastello restaurant is the place you don't expect. Beautiful panoramic view, good first courses, very good second courses with meat. Excellent quality/price ratio. Advised.

Trattoria in campagne di quelle di una volta. Maccheroni fatti in casa da urlo. Antipasto della casa con formaggi, sott’olio, salumi ecc. abbondante e ottimo. Bellissimo posto per una gita fuori porta la domenica.

29/04/2025: A quick working lunch, a new discovery! A restaurant run by a lady who cares about her cuisine and her dishes, from the buffet to the main courses, everything is really good! Particular appreciation for the first course, a pasta with red prawn, mussels, clams and calamari out of this world

11/03/2025: We have just been to this place for an aperitif. Impeccable service, fast and punctual. Cocktails of the most varied and food beyond expectations. Also super appreciated that the cutting boards were separated per person. The mixed fried food is a little too expensive but highly recommended!
