Trattoria Scavolino In Roma

We had an amazing dinner here last night, and I would love to go back, but the service staff have no passion for what they do.We had the Asian sever who was not interested at all. Firstly, he only brought a drink to my partner, and we had to remind him to get mine. Next, he just came and put a basket of bread and walked over to another server, and started chatting. We asked him again if we could have some olive oil and salt$pepper. Then we were done eating this beautiful dinner, he came to take the plates and we wanted to tell him how yummy the dinner was, he had ZERO interest in listening. Again, we had to ask if we could get the desert menu. I really hope this place gets some servers who have passion for what they do because the food is really, really good. It was also disappointing to see service tax already added to the bill because this server didn't deserve it.

The cost was high for the quality of the dishes. They also arrived cold at the table. The service was fast but unfriendly. Even the bread arrived much later and was cold.

The rating is definitely wrong. The service is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious, especially the carbonara and eggplant pizza. I highly recommend it for the great price and taste.

Hidden away, but worth a visit. Quiet location with good service. Authentic Italian food, including lasagna, pizza, and the pasta we chose. While you wait, they bring you toasted bread with oil and salt—exquisite. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised. This restaurant doesn't deserve a 3.1 rating. I would give it a 4.1-4.3 rating. The prices are fair and correspond to what you get on your plate. Good food for cheap. In short, don't hesitate to walk a few meters further down a small street to have a good meal.

It's a bit hidden, but it's worth getting lost in it. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is very, very good. We ordered Suppli, spaghetti carbonara, and gnocchi Bolognese. If you visit the Trevi Fountain, stop by the Scavolino.

Visitando la capitale ,ci siamo soffermati a cenare in questo localino molto accogliente camerieri molto gentili , servizio veloce e piatti tipici molto buoni ☺️ abbiamo messo antipasto con salumi e delle zucchine in carpione ottime . Carbonara, amatriciana e cacio e pepe buonissimi . Ottima carne .....consigliatissimo ☺️
