The restaurant delivers excellent food with a strong price-to-value ratio. A reservation is essential due to predictable crowding. The house wine was a solid choice and rounded out the overall experience.

Make sure you call and make reservations prior other wise it would be so hard to get a table. Very simple but delicious!price is really good. They keep updating their menu depending on the seasons. I have been here couple of times and love this place.

A typical family atmosphere, old-fashioned cuisine, not elaborate dishes, top service, and the waiter Nicola is very courteous and professional. Thank you and see you soon.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the ravioli! We didn't like the beef ragu pasta. The tiramisu was delicious!

Imagine stepping into a small time machine – but instead of flashing lights and wild beeping, you land in a tiny, quaint restaurant in the middle of Pisa. That's how it felt for my partner and me when we ate here.
The restaurant is small, sweet, and somehow so charming that you immediately think, "When you wield the wooden spoon here, it tastes like Grandma's – only without the pressure to force yourself to eat a third helping."
The service? Direct, warm, and pleasantly honest. No exaggerated "How was your day, sir?" – but more of a down-to-earth "Hungry? Well, let's go!" I immediately felt welcome, as if I were the long-lost cousin from Germany.
And then the service: faster than visiting the Leaning Tower in the rain. I was truly amazed – from the first order to dessert, all the courses were on the table AND eaten within 30 minutes. Perfect for those who lack patience or think eating out always takes forever.
The food itself? Simple, uncomplicated, but exactly as it should be. No experiments with foams or decorative art made from carrot peels, just honest, traditional Pisa cuisine. Pasta that tastes like it was just rolled out by Grandma herself. Meat and fish without any frills, but perfectly cooked. And the dessert was so classic that I almost expected to hear Italian pop music in the background.
At the end, I sat there with a completely carefree feeling: full, happy, and somehow a little bit in love with this little restaurant.
The bottom line: If you're visiting Pisa and want to experience the feeling of a culinary journey back in time – without blowing your entire vacation budget – then this is your spot. 🌟
