I'd pass by every time I went, unless I was going to the hyped-up pola next door, and I wish I hadn't! I don't know why it's not packed; this place is so much better! I'll only bring everyone here from now on; it's a truly worthy spot! Much tastier than the piola next door, don't miss it!

We went there for dinner on Thursday evening. Dinner on the terrace. Rain and thunderstorm but it didn't last. We were very well protected by large umbrellas. Regarding the meal, it was truly exceptional. From the starter to the dessert, absolutely delicious. The warm octopus salad is fabulous and I recommend it. The seafood risotto was a treat....etc. What struck us was that as soon as we arrived, we were brought the menu in French. Really a plus. Finally, impeccable service, staff attentive to their customers. In short, we will return when we return to Turin.

Lunch included excellent fried calamari and shrimp, but the baked fish was also excellent, I was told. Very friendly service and perfect wait times. The price was right: fruit, side dish, and a beer were €32. The only downside was having to pay €2.50 for a bottle of tap water. This is unheard of; nowadays, throughout Europe (and beyond), tap water is included, even where there's no service charge.

Luckily the cooks are good! We ate well, but the service wasn't great and I didn't really appreciate paying at the back of the kitchen next to the toilets and having to leave through the back door in the middle of the trash.

We ate superbly. We've been in Italy for three weeks, and it's one of the best, if not the best, restaurants we've ever eaten at. The staff was a little stressed. A smile from the customer is appreciated. Anyway, 5 stars for the value.
