I've been here several times. The first courses are delicious... as are the gnocco and tigelle! I especially recommend it in the summer because the terrace overlooking the hills is beautiful. Sometimes the wait is a bit long... but it's worth it!

A historic family-run trattoria with excellent traditional cuisine. The restaurant is located in the foothills, so the view, aided by a glass terrace overlooking the outdoor dining area, is beautiful. Traditional furnishings. The young man who served us was very professional and kind. Although it was a good lunch, I only preferred the second course: roast rabbit with potatoes. The first course (porcini mushroom rosettes) was too full of béchamel sauce for me, covering the flavor of the pasta and mushrooms. I've had better trifles! Overall, a positive rating, however.

Beautiful trattoria in a truly suggestive location, with a splendid view that alone is worth the visit! The food is excellent, prepared with care and with quality ingredients. The environment is quiet, peaceful and very easy-going, perfect for those looking for a totally relaxing lunch or dinner. The people who run it are very kind and make you feel at home right away. An authentic and very pleasant experience, definitely worth repeating!

One of the advantages of traveling by car is being able to get off the highway and take a break for an authentic meal (much more than the rustichelle from the autogrill!). Choosing the hills of Bologna and the trattoria Sant'Antonio we were very lucky. Welcomed with kindness and friendliness we tasted the classic tagliatelle with ragù as well as the crescentine with cured meats and cheeses and the tigelle with pesto (an ancient peasant snack made with sausage, bacon, rosemary and garlic: divine!). All seasoned with a good still wine and a beautiful view of the territories of the provinces of Modena and Bologna. We can't wait to return.

From the hills you can enjoy an excellent view. Strict on the choice of no more than three types of pasta per table (for example, we were ten and agreed among ourselves to choose within three types of pasta) Excellent crescentine and cold cuts. Prices within the norm.

An unforgettable experience at Trattoria San Antonio! Trattoria San Antonio in Savignano sul Panaro was a fantastic discovery, a real gem that I recommend to anyone who is in the area. From the first moment, we were greeted by very polite and attentive staff, who immediately made us feel at ease. The culinary experience began with a house appetizer that was nothing short of exquisite: a triumph of fresh cold cuts, fried gnocco, fragrant crescentine and mixed pickles, all accompanied by delicious garlic strigoli. A perfect start that teased the palate in an excellent way. For the first course, the gramigna with sausage was cooked to perfection and full of flavor, a true comfort food that fully met expectations. But the highlight was the mixed meat roast: tender, succulent and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a fresh mixed salad. Every bite was a pleasure! And we can't fail to mention the magical terrace: having lunch here, with a panoramic view of the entire city, made the atmosphere truly unique and unforgettable. Another detail that makes the difference: the bathrooms were very clean and equipped with everything needed, a sign of great attention to the customer. And to finish in style, before the bill we were offered an excellent digestive with a choice between nocino and limoncello of the house. Trattoria San Antonio undoubtedly deserves its five stars. A place where the quality of the food, the excellence of the service and the beauty of the location come together to create a truly superlative culinary experience. I will definitely be back!
