I returned to a place I used to go to 30 years ago. The food is always top-notch and reasonably priced. The black cherry jam is fantastic and can be eaten with tigelle and crescentine.

Terrace with a crazy view, friendly and helpful staff, good traditional food

Very good and abundant food. We tried an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied with tigelle and a sort of fried dumpling! For the first course we had lasagna and another first course, but for personal taste I really liked the lasagna! The staff was courteous and attentive!

Typical regional restaurant located on the hills, comfortable environment Typical Emilian menu, I propose crescentine and tigelle, their specialty wild boar stew and sausage with beans and much more.

Good local cuisine at honest prices The only flaw was that we were not offered some second courses which were offered at other tables (I presume native ones) (wild boar and sausage and beans). Overall good experience

Typical trattoria on the hills. At dinner, only first courses and crescents/tigelle with various filling ingredients, cured meats and Modena pesto are served. Crescentine really good because the fried food is light and not greasy. Good quality/price ratio (15/25€ each). Very friendly staff and fast service. Recommended to dine on the terrace with panoramic views. Booking recommended!

Situata a poche centinaia di metri da Montebudello, la trattoria dispone di più sale e di una terrazza estiva con vista valle, quindi un discreto numero di coperti. Il menu non viene portato ai tavoli ma elencato dal personale di sala, vini locali sia sfusi che in bottiglia, piatti tipici bolognesi con contaminazione dalla vicina provincia di Modena. Primi piatti assaggiati tortellini in brodo, non eccezionali, lasagne verdi, sbiadite con poco ragù ed un po’ sbruciacchiate ma saporite e tagliatelle al prosciutto, eccezionali. Secondi piatti assaggiati salsiccia con fagioli in umido, buona ma sugo rappreso quindi niente scarpetta, grigliata mista di carne, di qualità media, infine crescentine e tigelle con affettati e sottaceti, molto buone compresi i salumi, in particolare il prosciutto crudo in grande quantità. Dolci della casa Creme Caramel, molto buono, e Torta di riso, lontana dalla ricetta tradizionale. Complessivamente un buon pranzo, tenuto conto anche dell’ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo per una spesa di euro 140,00 per 4 persone, con una bottiglia di vino, caffè ed ammazza caffè compresi. Ritornerei volentieri per assaggiare altri piatti come la gramigna al ragù di salsiccia ed i tortelloni.
