Trattoria Santa Lucia In

It's hard to say whether the Santa Lucia is a tourist trap or not. In any case, my experience was that our pasta dishes (Bigoli con sarde, Carbonara, Gnocchi al ragù) and antipasti (Insalata di polipo, Prosciutto crudo) were by far the best dishes of our stay in Grado. As a tourist you definitely don't feel 100% welcome, but in the end we didn't have any problems with the service. The boss is quite present, and not just in a good way, and I couldn't help but get the impression that he found my trying Italian terribly embarrassing -- but that may just be my perception. The tables are indeed small and narrow, and the chairs (inside) are unfortunately very uncomfortable. All in all, I'm very grateful for the best culinary evening we had in Grado -- honestly: it's not cheap anywhere here, fish is mainly a question of purchase and the quality of the catch, and here there are at least hints of real Italian cuisine that isn't just designed to meet tourist expectations.

Welcoming and clean environment. Attentive and helpful staff. Excellent service. The mussel and clam pasta dishes were full of flavour. The only flaw is that when I ordered the tiramisu for dessert instead of mascarpone there was cream ice cream and instead of Ladyfingers there were 90% Pavesini. How did I notice? The “Mascarpone” was melting and the Ladyfingers were TOO crunchy. Furthermore, I highly recommend you try this restaurant because you have the opportunity to spend a nice evening with friends and relatives. Keep it up! ✌🏻

The food is terrific and the family charm is priceless.

The restaurant is a bit hidden, but it's definitely worth it because the food was good. My personal favorite dish is Spaghetti Vongole, which I can highly recommend. The service and ambience can be rated as Italian and good.

We booked for the first time at this beautiful place…I will write a very technical review: We ate mussels marinara (a touching stew), spaghetti with clams (creamy and abundant), bigoli with sardoni (amazing, I'm not kidding), fried calamari (very fresh). I have another goal in life…to return as soon as possible

Das Restaurant Santa Lucia in Grado hat sich in meinem kulinarischen Erlebnis als wahres Highlight herausgestellt. Es ist nicht nur die exquisite Küche, die mich immer wieder anzieht, sondern vor allem der außerordentlich zuvorkommende Service, der einen Besuch zu einem besonderen Ereignis macht. An erster Stelle muss ich den Chef Antonio hervorheben, dessen Leidenschaft für gute Gastronomie spürbar ist. Sein persönlicher Einsatz in der Küche kombiniert mit seiner herzlichen Art schafft eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Man merkt ihm an, dass er nicht nur für das Essen, sondern auch für das Wohl seiner Gäste brennt. Diese Hingabe findet sich in jedem einzelnen Gericht wieder, das durch seine Frische und eine geschickte Balance der Aromen besticht. Die Speisekarte bietet eine Vielzahl von köstlichen Optionen, die sowohl traditionelle als auch kreative italienische Gerichte umfassen. Jedes Mal, wenn ich das Santa Lucia besuche, bin ich begeistert von der Qualität und der Präzision, mit der die Speisen zubereitet werden. Man verlässt das Restaurant stets mit dem Gefühl, etwas Besonderes erlebt zu haben. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen, die ich an verschiedenen Stellen gelesen habe, absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Mein Eindruck ist, dass Santa Lucia weit mehr als nur ein Restaurant ist. Es ist ein Ort, an dem Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird und an dem jeder Besuch ein kleines Fest für die Sinne darstellt. Ich werde mit Sicherheit immer wieder gerne zurückkehren und kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der sich eine erstklassige kulinarische Erfahrung gönnen möchte.

As usual I rely on good luck to eat out. This time too I found what I was looking for in this restaurant, namely good food and excellent service and hospitality.

Gli amici vogliono conoscere Grado e nonostante vento e freddo li portiamo… poi alla ricerca del ristorante ci ricordiamo di essere già stati alla Trattoria Santa Lucia dove Francesco ci accoglie con classe e cordialità! Mangiamo benissimo, piatti curati e prodotti freschissimi, un bel vino rosso e per finire un dolce fantastico 👏👏 Il conto è corretto… e pure l’ottimo caffè 😂😂 salutiamo con la certezza di tornare, complimenti !

We already knew this cozy restaurant from a previous stay in Grado and were thrilled again this year! The selection of dishes is large, the pizzas and pasta dishes with fish or seafood are particularly recommended, but the homemade dolci are also fantastic! Plus a very attentive and friendly team - that's what we hope for an evening for two in Italy!
