Word of mouth introduced me to this little place where I went for lunch with a colleague. Greeted with a smile by the chef, we tried a first course (spaghetti alla nerano) and a side dish (zucchini alla scapece). What can I say, pasta cooked to perfection and seasoned even better! The zucchini alla scapece, a triumph of flavors. We were very happy and will return for dinner to enjoy the menu at its best
The only negative note, which is only meant as a suggestion, the kitchen ventilation didn't work (I think), we left smelling of fried food (a lot) and returning to work wasn't very pleasant

Small place but well-kept and very clean. The menu has few courses but there is a reason: Super fresh products. Excellent quality at a great price. Chef who comes to the tables to hear how things are going.... SUPER!

Beyond expectations! We looked for a place quickly on our way back to Rome and, reading the reviews, Trattoria Sandalari was the choice. The place is spartan and very clean. Abundant and tasty dishes: paccheri alla pescatora with lots of fish (and lots of sauce to make the slipper!); Fried calamari and prawns were dry and plentiful, with a touch of pepper that made it special. Attentive and very kind, even though they had a table and we had directly asked for main courses (no starters), we didn't have to wait to eat. Everything was really great!

We were looking for a restaurant in the area and reading the reviews we tried the small Sandalari restaurant. Excellent experience, very good chef, helpful and kind. The lady who served us was very courteous and attentive.
Excellent experience. We will definitely be back

I had the spaghetti alla nerano, and they were exceptional. Then I had some baked potatoes, and they were amazing too. I would happily return.

You can't even see it from the outside, it's there and then you don't understand what it is, it looks like a delicatessen counter, but then looking closer you see the small room, thank goodness we booked. They welcome us with a lot of warmth and smiles. The menu has few choices, but there are off-menu items. Whoever took me there tells me "there's little, but it's all excellent". What can I say, I was moved, I still have the explosion of flavours, exploding between my mouth and mind.
I'll be back.

Il posto é molto limitato nei tavoli disponibili. Nel complesso cibo buono ma menu molto limitsto e il rapporto qualita prezzo rispetto alla scelta offerta é molto sbilanciato a sfavore di quest'ultimo. Per questa ragione il voto che do penalizza soprattutto il prezzo eccessivamente alto e la scelta eccessivamente limitata ma non la qualita del cibo e l'ospitalita del ristoratore.
