Very good restaurant, a great find while passing through Gela. We started with the imperial appetizer, which was delicious and incredibly filling. The first course, orecchiette with cherry tomatoes and sausage, was also excellent. I highly recommend it!

Exceptional, for work I travel a bit all over Italy and I have never eaten such good meat. The horse fillet was very soft. The appetizer was equally good and really abundant! The service was excellent. Congratulations! I had a great time!

We had a wonderful experience at the Trattoria San Giovanni. Staff are ver, very attentive and very friendly. We shared one antipasto Siciliano in 4 and there was more to go around! The pasta portions were quite generous and extremely well cooked. I had the pasta with pistacchio and speck (wonderful). My son had cavate in Sicilian ragú, my daughter had spaghettoni with pesto, tomato sauce and breadcrumbs, and my wife had pasta alla Norma. All the dishes were well cooked and tastefully presented in their own metal pan. I really recommend this little Trattoria in the heart of Gela. Bravissimi!
