Dinner with friends on the occasion of my wedding anniversary. Family welcome, relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant immersed in the Modica countryside. The artisanal salmon ravioli were delicious, the pasta with tenerumi with an ancient flavor, excellent as always the mixed fried fish. The surprise of the cake purchased on the spur of the moment from the restaurant owner without our knowledge was appreciated. A beautiful evening with the family.

Rich menu, both land and sea. Our choice was oriented towards fish. Everything very good, abundant and refined. Service good as the quality-price ratio.

About three years after the first visit I returned with a bit of anxiety because the welcome the first time was a little dubious. On this occasion I changed my mind and the owners were truly excellent, very welcoming and close to our needs, solving the requests promptly. Simplicity and familiarity are the specifications of this restaurant, basically a family of managers who make you feel at home.

I came to this restaurant because I saw Mr. Roberto in the episode of 4 restaurants and I decided to try his cuisine. I come to Sicily every year and I stopped by Modica, a very nice and welcoming place, we ate very well and enjoyed typical local dishes, the very kind and helpful waiter entertained us for the whole evening. The only thing I was sad to see was Mr. Roberto saddened by not having won 4 restaurants. 🤨 Otherwise ok 👌

02/05/2025: Cercavamo una buona pizza e l’abbiamo trovata. Grande e con ottimi ingredienti. Molto molto buona e digeribile. Servizio veloce e cortese. Siamo rimasti tutti soddisfatti. Ottimi anche i dolci.
13/03/2025: Personale cortese, locale pulito e cibo molto buono rendono quest’osteria un posto in cui val la pena pranzare o cena. Pizza buonissima, e primi deliziosi.

22/07/2025: Disappointment after a four-year wait After four years, I enthusiastically returned to this restaurant, driven by fond memories. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. I ordered a meat appetizer, grilled spaghetti with tomato sauce, and a cannoli. The appetizer included several dishes, all very similar in flavor: a dish that seemed assembled more to increase the bill than to surprise the palate. The spaghetti, although well cooked and with an interesting aroma, was completely lacking in flavor. The dessert was the biggest disappointment: the cannoli, along with the other desserts, seemed to have just come out of a supermarket package. Nothing that reminded me of the authenticity and care of the home cooking I had so appreciated years ago. In the end, the only thing that remained truly "salty" was the bill. What a shame.
