I haven't been back to Robarello in at least 10 years. I thought the owner, Antonio, had retired. Instead, I found him better than ever, with an exciting selection of dishes (especially fish). I recommend asking the waiters for off-the-list items, though: they have the best. For example, yesterday I had black tagliolini with shrimp that was absolutely amazing. The appetizer was also wonderful, with a special mention for the shrimp fritters. Antonio, hang in there: as long as there are people like you, Italian dining will be top-notch. Despite the Michelin-starred restaurants, whose dishes you could replicate for a tenth of the price. Hats off...

We had two sublime tuna tartares. Extremely fresh and divine in flavor, thanks to the expert blend of tuna and sesame seeds. I'd say it was spectacular. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Top notch. The owner was charming and classy. We'll be back again in a hurry.

This is EXCELLENT! Everything was perfection. Pasta tasted so fresh, calamari was amazing, tuna with black sesame was beautiful with the potatoes. The tiramisu was to die for!!

All the food is delicious, fresh fish and excellent slow-rising pizzas. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We stopped by purely by chance, and it was almost our last choice... I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The octopus and potato cream were exceptional, and two pizzas were good and well-topped... perhaps a little too much mozzarella for my wife and I, but that's just personal preference. Even though the place was very busy, the service was attentive and fast. I'll definitely keep that in mind if I return to the Sant'Ambrogio area.

Our expectations were far exceeded. The owners went to great lengths to describe their delicious lunch menu to us in English and Italian. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We would stop there again if we're in Varese.

21/08/2025: An excellent Italian restaurant, very high quality in the heart of Varese! Good value for money. Great atmosphere and impeccable service. Before booking, we saw many reviews saying that the quantities were not commensurate with the price, but I find that this restaurant prioritizes quality over quantity. The products are fresh, well-chosen, and of high quality (if you like to "eat a lot," go to a pizzeria; it's better; you'll get your money's worth. If you want quality, this is the place to go). PS: I have no connection with this restaurant; I discovered it like everyone else on Google, but I know that reviews can have a significant impact on good restaurants. I love gastronomy; I hope that independent restaurants with "good taste" continue to exist. Thanks again to the La Posteria team. We'll be back!

14/09/2025: The place is cheerful and friendly, as is the staff. Excellent value for money, the food was delicious. The dishes were generous, with excellent kebabs and lamb. I'll definitely be back.
14/09/2025: I went to this kebab place because friends kept mentioning it and raving about it. Intrigued, I tried the mixed grill with my husband, and I have to say, it was truly excellent! Very tasty and delicious! Fantastic lamb and excellent chicken. The kebab meat was also good, very tender and flavorful, and the fries with paprika were fantastic! Oh, and not to mention the appetizers, the vegetable frittata was truly excellent; the girls loved it too! The place was very clean and the staff was really, really friendly! I'll definitely be back!
