I haven't been back to Robarello in at least 10 years. I thought the owner, Antonio, had retired. Instead, I found him better than ever, with an exciting selection of dishes (especially fish). I recommend asking the waiters for off-the-list items, though: they have the best. For example, yesterday I had black tagliolini with shrimp that was absolutely amazing. The appetizer was also wonderful, with a special mention for the shrimp fritters. Antonio, hang in there: as long as there are people like you, Italian dining will be top-notch. Despite the Michelin-starred restaurants, whose dishes you could replicate for a tenth of the price. Hats off...

We had two sublime tuna tartares. Extremely fresh and divine in flavor, thanks to the expert blend of tuna and sesame seeds. I'd say it was spectacular. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Top notch. The owner was charming and classy. We'll be back again in a hurry.

This is EXCELLENT! Everything was perfection. Pasta tasted so fresh, calamari was amazing, tuna with black sesame was beautiful with the potatoes. The tiramisu was to die for!!

All the food is delicious, fresh fish and excellent slow-rising pizzas. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We stopped by purely by chance, and it was almost our last choice... I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The octopus and potato cream were exceptional, and two pizzas were good and well-topped... perhaps a little too much mozzarella for my wife and I, but that's just personal preference. Even though the place was very busy, the service was attentive and fast. I'll definitely keep that in mind if I return to the Sant'Ambrogio area.
