Trattoria Ristorante Castello In Serle

It's considered the pinnacle of the pinnacle in Serle, the home of spit-roasted meat. Indeed, that is the signature dish, distinguished by the quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation. I was also satisfied with all the other dishes, even though they were entirely home-cooked. As for the rest, I found it unexceptional. The service, in particular, was extremely slow. Sitting four hours for four courses is an exaggeration. And despite repeated requests, there was no way to speed up the service.

Historic trattoria, it practically feels like an old house. Friendly staff. The wait staff is highly professional. Good food. Prices are slightly above average compared to other trattorias in Serle. The spit-roasted meat is very good, but a bit more expensive than other trattorias in the area.

Historic trattoria serving divine traditional dishes. I recommend their appetizer consisting of: Home-made lard and salami Giardiniera Parmigianine Local herb omelettes Battered zucchini Polenta cubes made with whole wheat flour The casoncelli (small pasta dishes) are also delicious, as are the pink veal with tuna sauce and rabbit. The wine list is extensive and very reasonably priced. Last but not least, the impeccable service and beautiful location.
