Excellent value for money, for being in Liguria in a super tourist location. Exaggerated tuna tartare, never eaten anything like it. Courtesy and a family and informal environment. I'll be back to try the fried fish. Thank you!

Mi sono fermato di rientro da un appuntamento di lavoro ed appena entrato mi sono ricordato di essere già stato in questa osteria diversi anni fa e ne avevo un buon ricordo. Ho preso del salame di una razza bovina della zona ed a seguire i classici pansotti in salsa di noci e per chiudere degli involtini di cavolo ripieno del pescato del giorno. Il tutto molto buono con un’impronta casalinga e porzioni corrette . Aggiungiamo acqua un quartino di bianco sfuso ed un caffè a poco più di 50 euro e direi che ci siamo proprio.

Ravioli and grill, normal.
Mixed fried food, excellent and plentiful.
Very limited seafood starter (3 pink prawns, a spoonful of octopus with potatoes, two stuffed muscles and two anchovy fillets in oil)

Fish restaurant. We tried the spaghetti with mussels and clams and they were delicious. Bring plenty too. House wine in bulk. For each category there are 5/6 dishes and they are almost all fish-based. I tasted the seafood appetizer, warm and delicious. The mussels marinara were delicious and the portion was generous. The desserts are also really good. The restaurant is in an internal street in front of some garages. The location isn't the best but the place is really worth it. Very friendly and kind staff. Average prices. Parking is a bit difficult to find, the surrounding streets are narrow and poorly lit. However, we were very happy!

Last week, returning from Riva Trigoso, we phoned carefully to make sure there was room for dinner. The place is in fact now famous even though it is located in the village of Cavi di Lavagna. So many memories as a child when we spent the month of July in Cavi Borgo. My mother was a practically daily visitor to the Raieu fish shop... In fact there was the shop where they sold the fish caught during the night from the boats with lampare that went out into the sea from the final beach of Cavi around 7.30-8.00 pm . And I watched them ply the waters in admiration and the next day there were new baby octopus, squid, shrimp, endless anchovies, monkfish...
We entered the restaurant and it had been years since I had been there, and I still found the same warmth as always. I recognized the lady who immediately found us a nice place. The menu is always full of local dishes. I chose a typical dish, Ciupin, a sort of deboned and rather dense fish soup. A real delight.... Even the fish ravioli with octopus ragù was a unique delight...
The choice of desserts was excellent.
While waiting between one course and another, as well as exchanging a chat with my wife, my eyes insistently followed the marine objects that decorated the furniture of the place. Many of these objects came from lamps such as hall lamps and therefore other equipment such as oars, nets etc. A very characteristic and evocative place, and I'm sure not only for me, who knew the history of the place and the origins of this restaurant....
We will be back several times again, I'm sure.

If you want really fresh fish and seafood, cooked without frills, then this is one of the few restaurants in the Levante that delivers what it promises

Il cibo è buono, il servizio e l’accoglienza decisamente da rivedere e rinnovare (e non invochiamo il carattere schivo dei liguri, ne ho conosciuti di accoglienti e disponibili).
Mandilli al pesto buoni, torta al cioccolato con gelato alla vaniglia ottima.
A pranzo c’erano tre tavoli, compreso il mio: per avere un caffè sono passati 20 minuti, per avere il conto ho dovuto attendere che terminasse la (lunga) conversazione della titolare con un tavolo di clienti. A pranzo si può pensare che gli avventori siano in pausa pranzo e abbiano poca disponibilità’ di tempo… per due portate ho impiegato quasi un’ora e mezza.
Comunque per avere accelerato la conclusione della conversazione sono stato congedato senza saluto.
Location d’altri tempi, va bene la tradizione ma si può aggiornare.
Non ci tornerei.
