I've known the restaurant all my life. We've been eating very well all our lives. The à la carte menu is quite simple, but with real and authentic flavours. Last night Lorenzo surprised us...we ate "the off the list". All local products. Stewed Lavagna broccoli stuffed with local fish and pinzimonio with anchovy pesto and prescinseau. Courses rated 10 and praise.

The girl who served us was very attentive and good, let's say that for the courses taken the bill became high, in the past it wasn't so expensive.

Excellent value for money, for being in Liguria in a super tourist location. Exaggerated tuna tartare, never eaten anything like it. Courtesy and a family and informal environment. I'll be back to try the fried fish. Thank you!

Mi sono fermato di rientro da un appuntamento di lavoro ed appena entrato mi sono ricordato di essere già stato in questa osteria diversi anni fa e ne avevo un buon ricordo. Ho preso del salame di una razza bovina della zona ed a seguire i classici pansotti in salsa di noci e per chiudere degli involtini di cavolo ripieno del pescato del giorno. Il tutto molto buono con un’impronta casalinga e porzioni corrette . Aggiungiamo acqua un quartino di bianco sfuso ed un caffè a poco più di 50 euro e direi che ci siamo proprio.

Il cibo è buono, il servizio e l’accoglienza decisamente da rivedere e rinnovare (e non invochiamo il carattere schivo dei liguri, ne ho conosciuti di accoglienti e disponibili). Mandilli al pesto buoni, torta al cioccolato con gelato alla vaniglia ottima. A pranzo c’erano tre tavoli, compreso il mio: per avere un caffè sono passati 20 minuti, per avere il conto ho dovuto attendere che terminasse la (lunga) conversazione della titolare con un tavolo di clienti. A pranzo si può pensare che gli avventori siano in pausa pranzo e abbiano poca disponibilità’ di tempo… per due portate ho impiegato quasi un’ora e mezza. Comunque per avere accelerato la conclusione della conversazione sono stato congedato senza saluto. Location d’altri tempi, va bene la tradizione ma si può aggiornare. Non ci tornerei.

20/01/2025: I'm from Milan and having a house in Camogli it's already the second time I've come to dinner with friends at Chiapparino on a Saturday evening and I plan to return as soon as possible. My overall rating is certainly 5 stars both for the authenticity of the food expertly cooked according to Ligurian traditions by Francesca and her collaborators, and for the family and cheerful atmosphere that reigns in an informal and fun context. In particular, for those who love music and singing like me, the karaoke offered on Saturday evenings by Giuliano, great voice and great patience with the guests, contributes a lot to the success of a beautiful and fun evening with friends. I ate the very good pansoti and the vitello tonnato one of the best I've ever tried in terms of the quality of the meat and the success of the sauce. Frankly, knowing several restaurants in Liguria, I struggle to understand those who complain about the excessive price and as far as both myself and the friends who were with me are concerned, we can only express a 5-star quality/price ratio.
