Good, good, GOOD!!! And... plentiful, not to mention the selection... e.g., polenta not concia but... S concia... you find the polenta among a sea of loose and unsalted cheeses, like in many mountain places, where they foist mountains of polenta on you, just to "stuff" the customer with more traces of sauce... Perfect! After a year I returned and unfortunately, I downgraded the three-star review due to the ambiance... as for the food, drink, and service, nothing to complain about, but unlike nine months ago, this year we were greeted, instead of the peace of the mountains, longed for like the cool air, instead of the ringing and mooing of cowbells, instead of the calls of birds and cuckoos, like other times, which also allowed you to chat with your table companion, we were greeted and surrounded throughout the meal by a cacophony of blasting hard rock/country music. (Besides, what does this kind of music have to do with the mountains, eh?). After half an hour of torment we finished the meal with, for dessert, a bad headache... we're not there, we're not there at all... Update a week later... no, the music is no longer blasting: the silence, the peace and the coolness of the mountain have returned and... the well-deserved six stars now!

A historic place. From my childhood with Emma until now, it's been a special place, a place dear to my heart. Good food, friendly service, and the natural beauty of the Bigorie mountains will fill your eyes with wonder.
