An inconspicuous place, but in every respect it deserves high marks 😉

Good. However, I think three meatballs and a small plate of baked potatoes for €21 is excessive, as is the €12 a liter of house wine. These aren't exactly trattoria prices, but it's definitely worth a visit.
Although a bit slow for American standards, Trattoria Priscilla's food was excellent, simple but authentic. We noticed that locals were having lunch there and that's usually a good sign.

If you want authentic Italian cuisine, this is a place you must visit. The owner is very approachable and you can communicate with him in English. All praise. We had Trippa alla romana and veal, potatoes baked in homemade fat.

Wonderful place! We just "ended up" here on our way to the Catacombs of Domitilla. Delicious, well-cooked food with very good flavors. The dessert Tiramisu, the best I've ever had 😍

We had just finished a tour of the Appian Way and Aqueduct Park and asked our guide, Patrizio, for a recommendation for lunch. He suggested we go next door to Trattoria Priscilla. It was a great recommendation... we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
We even felt like we had a little taste of living like locals when the two women who were seated next to us at the table, obviously regulars, ordered exactly the same dishes we had.
Definitely worth a visit!

Trattoria Priscilla is strategically located near the Church of Santa Maria in Palmis (Quo Vadis), the entrance to the Appian Way Park, the Caffarella, and the Catacombs. The restaurant is charming and well-maintained, as befits a traditional osteria. As for the food, the first courses (gnocchi with tomato and basil, cacio e pepe, and fettuccine with artichokes), the second courses (veal and potato stew), the side dishes (sautéed chicory and baked potatoes), and the desserts (tiramisu and sour cherry tart) were delicious and served quickly. The family-run service is well-organized, friendly, and fast. The atmosphere is refined.

Old-fashioned trattoria, few dishes but good. If you like home cooking, go there.
