📝 Recommended trattoria in the heart of Rome with friendly service. 🍴 You can find many traditional Roman dishes, including very good pizzas. I had the fried stuffed zucchini flowers, the classic sautéed chicory, and the cacio e pepe: I loved everything. 📍 The location is very central, we ate outside, and the atmosphere was very nice.

Paolo and his sister Laura were just the best, super kind, professional and friendly. They made us feel like at home, grazie!

By chance, unexpectedly after visiting the Vatican, we came across Trattoria Polese. And it was like hitting a blind hen in the dark. A wonderful atmosphere, perfect service and at the same time like in a family home. The recommended dishes according to our wishes simply transported us to the wine dimension of Rome.

Llegamos tarde a Roma. Aunque ya habían acabado con las cenas, al vernos con niños, nos acogieron amablemente y nos atendieron muy bien. Nos gustó que no es el típico restaurante turístico ya que el público se veía muy familiar, con perfil de clientela recurrente que conversaba con los camareros. No es de extrañar que los italianos vayan a este restaurante: ,hospitalidad con los niños, pizzas enormes con pocos ingredientes pero con buen sabor, la pasta con salsas exquisitas (lo mejor), buen café y postre a un precio correcto, invita a repetir, Y repetimos! La decoración un 10! Hazte una foto con el Papa en vespa :-) Evita los típicos restaurantes recomendados y pasate por "La Polese"si quieres disfrutar de gastronomía auténtica romana.

Excelente servicio y buena comida. Nos alojamos por encima de este restaurante, pero no lo probamos hasta el último día. Lo cual fue un gran error. Era un gran restaurante. Toda la comida es fresca y muy romana. Cada plato era excepcional.
