Pleasant place, isolated from road noise. Very friendly staff, who don't speak English right away! Thanks! Delicious porcini mushroom risotto, not to mention the pieces of focaccia.

This is exactly what I expected when I went to a Roman trattoria: a welcoming place, friendly staff (Billy is exceptional), a rich and varied menu, and delicious food! Incredible? Experience it and you'll come back. I'm counting down the days until my next visit to Rome. Thank you for what an incredible moment!

Excellent restaurant. Only spent 59 euros for two people, including one drink each. Our waiter was a local Italian, who had such a genuine and friendly vibe all night, constantly laughing and attentive to our table, even though it was busy. Great food, classic Italian with rich and satisfying flavours. Nice location, away from the street tucked behind a park.

Nos encantó nuestro almuerzo, tanto que nos perdimos una tarde de turismo romano. A veces es simplemente perfecto para relajarse con un gran servicio , deliciosa comida y un servicio agradable y realmente encantador . Un violonchelo de limón se volvió hacia muchos. Grazi

Trattoria storica in una delle belle piazzette di Roma centro, frequentata sia da turisti che da romani senza per questo perdere il suo carattere in favore della globalizzazione gastronomica che produce spesso sfracelli. Qui invece si gusta un'ottima cucina e c'è anche una eccellente pizzeria. Molto valido il tortino broccoli e patate, ottima la carne. Primi e dolci molto graditi. Servizio cordiale e scorrevole. È stato risolto rapidamente e con correttezza un piccolo disguido capitato per caso. Ed anche questo vale un punteggio alto.

Antica Trattoria Da Carlone

08/10/2025: Da Carlone was recommended to us by a local tour guide and we are so glad it was!!! It was the best pasta we had in Rome! We ordered two pasta dishes. Huge serving sizes and absolutely delicious. Amazing wine. Beautiful family run restaurant.
07/10/2025: We ate at one of the best carboneras in the world. In addition to the authentic food, the waiters, their service, and their recommendations were very honest and accurate. The portions are huge without sacrificing any quality.
