A dive into the past of Friulian taverns. A family-run establishment, to be enjoyed at your own leisure. I'm giving the service 4 stars only because of the wait, but there are only two people there, one in the dining room, one in the kitchen. A typical Friulian-Istrian menu, well-prepared home cooking.

Maybe we were a little unlucky; we wanted gnocchi, homemade of course, and ended up with semi- or industrial-sized ones... other than that disappointment, the game sauce was good, and the palacinka was delicious!!! Very generous portions, reasonable bill, and friendly service. A special mention for the very quaint place, adorned with beautiful old-fashioned clocks.

Found it through an internet search. Returning from a trip, I was looking for a restaurant where I could eat authentic food, and this restaurant inspired me and actually lived up to my expectations. I ate excellent and abundant tagliatelle with venison, truly well-made, richly seasoned, and flavorful. Congratulations. I plan to return to the area, so I've bookmarked it so I can be sure to find you again.

Hungry? This is the place to eat! Very generous and tasty portions. It's a shame about the wait, but it's understandable since it's a family-run trattoria. Very rustic but efficient. Nice and friendly. The owner is helpful and friendly. If we pass through this area again, we'll definitely stop by! The prices are unbeatable for the amount of food! (a strong point)

05/10/2025: After climbing Mount Zoncolan, we really needed a good hot meal (frico and polenta) in a nice pub-style setting, but still in the mountains. The beer (hacker) was good and expertly served. All accompanied by good music on the TV. A+++ 🔝

05/10/2025: Super delicious pizzas with fresh ingredients from the wood-fired oven! We've been coming here, with a few interruptions, for over 30 years! A simple, clean restaurant with super-friendly staff! We especially enjoy our beloved "Swiss waitress"! Hope it stays this way for a long time to come!
10/09/2025: We were there for the first time today, and we felt very comfortable. It was a very informal atmosphere. The service was excellent. The food was simple but perfectly prepared. Unlike the usual restaurants in the area, on Schiki Miki, it was simply honest and good—you don't need anything more for a lovely evening with good food. Highly recommended.
