A dive into the past of Friulian taverns. A family-run establishment, to be enjoyed at your own leisure. I'm giving the service 4 stars only because of the wait, but there are only two people there, one in the dining room, one in the kitchen. A typical Friulian-Istrian menu, well-prepared home cooking.

Maybe we were a little unlucky; we wanted gnocchi, homemade of course, and ended up with semi- or industrial-sized ones... other than that disappointment, the game sauce was good, and the palacinka was delicious!!! Very generous portions, reasonable bill, and friendly service. A special mention for the very quaint place, adorned with beautiful old-fashioned clocks.

11/01/2026: A pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for enjoying wines and alcoholic beverages: recommended for the variety and quality of the wines offered. Not recommended for non-alcoholic beverages: they don't offer fruit juices, freshly squeezed orange juice, or even Chinotto. The cocktails could be improved. The staff are friendly and courteous. Located just steps from Piazza San Giacomo in the center of Udine, with both indoor and outdoor seating.
04/01/2026: A lovely, traditional Friulian restaurant in the heart of Udine. Excellent food, fast and friendly service, and generous portions. Must try.

20/01/2026: This was my second time here today and the food was delicious again.
06/01/2026: I ate at this restaurant with my family and we were more than satisfied. Both the meat and fish dishes were beautifully presented, plentiful, tasty, and of high quality. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, with reasonable wait times. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
