Simple but clean place, friendly staff. Cacio e pepe a bit too dry. Cheap prices.

Good food (typical Roman) there is nothing to complain about! Medium/large portions I would only review two things: 1) With the menu that the place offers it is unthinkable to pay for bread! (I highly recommend reviewing this Option) It is good practice to reset the cent or single euro in an account to zero.

Trattoria Pizzeria Monte Gaudio is the classic place that you don't expect, but which once discovered becomes a permanent stop. A simple place, without too many frills, but with an authentic soul and Roman cuisine that does not disappoint. The battered fried artichokes are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for starting the meal in the right way. The pizza, then, is a real surprise: well cooked, with quality ingredients and that flavor that only the trattorias of the past can provide. The staff is kind and attentive, the service fast but never rushed. In summer you can eat outdoors, in a relaxed atmosphere which makes everything even more pleasant. The prices are honest and in the end you leave satisfied, with the desire to return. If you are in the Trionfale area and are looking for authentic Roman cuisine, Monte Gaudio is a safe choice.

Siamo stati a Roma durante gli ultimi 5 giorni del dicembre 2024 e abbiamo sempre cenato qui. Personale sempre sorridente, gentilissimo, alla mano. Cucina ottima. Prezzo super onesto. Dopo un'intera giornata di cammino nella capitale, questa trattoria è diventata la nostra meta e una parte insostituibile della vacanza. Consigliata al 100%.

Moc dobrý předkrm "dela casa" a pizza také super. Nejlepší ale nakonec: tiramisu a sicilský zákusek, který se jen tak nedostane. Doporučujeme vřele.
