09/10/2025: My wife and I spent a full month in Parma, and this café became one of those places we stopped in just to enjoy the atmosphere. The service was fine overall, sometimes a little slow, but always polite. The food and pastries were decent—nothing over the top, but fresh and satisfying.
What truly stands out here is the building itself. The café is part of the historic Teatro Regio complex, built in the early 1800s under Duchess Maria Luigia. You can feel that history in every detail—the chandeliers, the mirrors, the marble, the sense of old-world elegance.
If you come expecting a high-end meal, you might leave underwhelmed. But if you come for the experience, a coffee, and a little glimpse into Parma’s cultural heart, it’s a beautiful stop and worth a visit.
13/09/2025: I'll start by reviewing the service, which was excellent. The young man who served us and recommended what to eat and drink was very kind. The location inside was beautiful, but the bathroom was a bit less so... Everything we ate and drank was delicious. The only downside was the high bill. All in all, it was a very enjoyable aperitivo, but it was expensive. I'd return for the kindness of the staff, but not for the prices.
