I had dinner last night, and I can absolutely say it was the best dinner of the entire vacation! Now let's move on to Mr. Lucio, who some reviews have criticized, but how can you say he's gruff and unfriendly??? As soon as I arrived, he introduced himself by shaking my hand. He was extremely kind and friendly, and spent a few minutes with us both at the beginning and end of the meal. Back to the food, we had a Salento appetizer, which was standard, then the mixed fried fish, which were exceptional. My husband had the mboti, and as a food and grill enthusiast, he said they were the best he'd ever had, while I had orecchiette with turnip tops, which was absolutely amazing! Just talking about it makes me want to eat it again right now 🤭 We had the Negramaro della casa from Cantina Vecchia Torre, which was also exceptional, and we spent 60 euros! If I could give more stars, I would. The food is authentic and incredibly delicious. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious, just like Grandma's.

I've known the restaurant for years and we always have a great time. The atmosphere is familiar and very welcoming. Lucio makes you feel at home. The food is always good. The staff are quick and helpful with their service. Special thanks to Alessia who treated us so well! See you next year!
