We absolutely LOVED this local spot, La Piazza da Nino! The food was deliciously amazing! And all three of our waiters from Simone (the owner’s grandson), Augusto and Lola, who were so friendly and, attentive. When we finished our meal we inquired about a taxi service, as we were physically tired from the fun exploring of the day, and Simone and his Nono volunteered their driver to take us home. Nice, authentic restaurant with shuttle service. I had a very tender thin sliced ham with super tasty, sweet melon as a starter and a delicious lasagne. The service was very friendly and quick.

We went to La Piazza da Nino encouraged by the positive reviews. During our stay there, after the food was served, the biggest attraction for us was reading negative reviews on Google and trying to guess who and why had a positive opinion about the food at this place - we had a lot of fun doing it. First of all, I would like to point out that we waited 30 minutes for the place to open, even though we were there at its opening time according to Google - this can still be considered part of the Italian tradition and color. We ordered dishes recommended in Google reviews. It turned out that both lasagne and gnocchi tasted like the simplest tomato soup from a jar. The shape and size of the gnocchi closely resembled those that can be purchased wrapped in foil in local stores. The lasagne, on the other hand, was not only bland, was served in a small portion and looked like a reheated leftover from the previous day. Both dishes were served without any attention not only to taste, but also to aesthetics. The quality of the cuisine in this place is more or less at the level of an average gas station bar. The salad served with it looked like a pile of ready-made vegetable mixture - probably just taken out of the package and sprinkled with a little olive oil, without seasoning. Undoubtedly, the biggest advantage of this place is the view of the sea and the coast - we could certainly rate it five stars. However, since it is impossible to get enough of the view, we cannot recommend this place to anyone who respects their own taste buds and would like to maintain a positive opinion about Italian cuisine. However, if you are very hungry, you have absolutely no other options, you want a place where you can just sit and spend way too much money on food that is absolutely not worth it, then this place is perfect for that. Otherwise, we encourage you to choose another restaurant. A much better alternative will be to visit any local grocery store where you can buy some cheese, olive oil, tomatoes, bread, pesto and prosciutto - then you will certainly eat better, tastier and much cheaper than in La Piazza da Nino.

We ate here twice, and both times it was great! The food was delicious, the atmosphere cozy and the employees were nice. Not to forget, the view was also beautiful! A real recommendation if you are here

Locale a gestione familiare, cucina a vista. Tutto molto alla buona. La pizza non è male. Per una cena veloce si può fare, credo che valga la pena provarlo con il caldo con i tavoli all’aperto sulla piazza.
