A delightful restaurant in the heart of Montelanico; excellent meats, fish, and pizza. Prices are slightly above average, but the experience is very pleasant.

A beautiful place, a private pergola, richly decorated with olive trees, plants, fairy lights, and charming tables, located in the center of the village of Montelanico. The food is good, and lots of it, the service is very quick and friendly, everything is tasty and plentiful... and in this hot season, you can breathe in the fresh air here!!!! The menu, with a wide selection of local appetizers, meat and seafood first courses, and grilled meats with seasonal side dishes, satisfies all tastes and budgets... I was truly surprised and satisfied.

17/10/2025: Family run by very warm Italian family. I loved the food and service as well as Jazz standards being played softly on a turntable. I was staying next door and was having problems getting a cab the next day and in a last ditch effort not to miss my tour of the Coliseum went inside and asked for their help to order a cab in Italian. They had a cab there in 3 minutes and I made my tour. This is charming place with real "old school" Italian food, service, and a home feel. Try to make it here when in Rome.

09/11/2025: An old-fashioned trattoria in Frascati. The owner is friendly and no-frills, just like the place itself. We had an appetizer: cured meats, including hand-cut prosciutto, olives, grilled eggplant, and an omelette. Bruschetta with olive oil. House wine. Rigatoni, Carbonara, and bucatini amatriciana were all very good. The house wine, not exceptional, but good. The portions were very generous, and I didn't pair them with dessert. We asked for two amaro liqueurs, and the owner offered us delicious wine donuts (typical of Frascati). Oh... the host hasn't been there, and he never brought the menu, but he does everything by word of mouth. Only go if you're looking for an old-fashioned trattoria. 🙌🙌🙌 If you come in like this, you'll be satisfied. 🔝
24/10/2025: Everything was excellent and plentiful, the price was right, the staff were friendly and treated well.
