Trattoria Pizzeria Fantasy In Mola di bari

Must try...welcoming place and very attentive service. Thanks to everyone at the Fantasy restaurant for hosting us.

So, I went here with a friend, mostly because there wasn't much else going on: on a Saturday night, it was impossible to find a table anywhere else. At first glance, the place is nice; I think they also play music, maybe even karaoke on certain nights. But guys... the wait! Oh my, I was starving. It was way too long. The pizza was good, for goodness' sake, but nothing memorable: I think they could do better. I love Neapolitan-style deep-dish pizza, but obviously, this is a different area, so that's fine. Then, a little episode: my friend and I forgot to ask for the pizza pre-sliced. When we asked, the response was a bit hesitant, like, "Let's see if we can do it"... Luckily, they finally cut it for us, but I think they should be more customer-friendly. I want to feel at home in a place, pampered, spoiled.

It was a very inviting place and we decided to have a meal here. However it was only average looking at the quality and we would not return there again. Next to an okay meal is the service as well only average. For us not to recommend.

We happened upon it by chance on Sunday, August 17th, while walking the Via Francigena. They told us they offer a set menu on Sundays. We accepted and were pleasantly surprised: a menu featuring almost entirely seafood for €35 per person, including drinks, coffee, and a cover charge! Generous portions, excellent, fresh food, and friendly waiters. Highly recommended!

We were there last night. A welcoming place, good food. I recommend it to everyone.

Trattoria-pizzeria located on the outskirts of Mola. Offering pizzas and pasta dishes, it's open for lunch and dinner. The staff and owners are helpful, welcoming, and polite. Thin-crust pizza with a light sauce and mozzarella. The place is clean and quiet. An experience worth repeating.
