Honestly, I had higher expectations from this "historic" place; a good platter of cold cuts and cheeses rather distant from an "anonymous and rather spongy" steak and a chicory over-sautéed in a preparation of oil with a very spicy pepper-chili flavor. Service was normal and the price was in line even if I was not satisfied at all. I'm sorry but we're not there!

Nowadays it is not easy to find (in Rome) real trattorias (places like this are not easy to find). I recommend coming here so you can realize the value today The waiter is friendly and professional. Dishes in the right quantity, perhaps even abundant. Typical Roman dishes, excellent quality and prices perhaps a little lower than normal. Worth trying..... of course everything is subjective. Il locale è arredato in stile casareccio. Appena si entra si respira la storia del locale grazie alle numerose fotografie appese alle pareti del locale. Il locale è a conduzione famigliare ed è davvero bello vedere che ogni tanto il servizio viene effettuato direttamente dalla cuoca che esce dalla cucina per effettuare il servizio. Squisite sia la pasta e fagioli con i maltagliati fatti in casa che bieta e patate ripassate. Buono il vino rosso della casa. Nel complesso ottimo il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo.
