The food was great, i had Tagliatelle al Ragu and it was pefect, my standards are very high when it comes to Pasta and this place nailed them all. Only things regarding the athmosphere... for the people sitting outside in front lf the pizza oven, it can get very hot... you should have a humidifier in the seat outside. I would definitly come back for more dishes

I liked it a lot!!! The lasagna was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They even let me charge my phone when I asked. They eat well and they have many gluten-free options.

A great experience thanks to our very friendly and funny waiter, Denis! Food was great but the staff even better ⭐️ Denis made sure my boyfriend and I had a very memorable evening in Bologna!

tortellini nero with truffle are tremendous, the garganelli with prosciutto are also very good. For dessert, the fig cake is delicious. Great variety of wine and good quantities

The pasta was good, not a 10, but a 9. They give parmesan, wich is great. The wine is not so good. In the end, it was a good meal.

Vi koste oss masse! Det var god mat (pizza Denis) og drikke. Vi fikk hjerteformet pizza, drikke på huset, god tiramisu også på huset, og møtte verdens hyggeligste kelner Denis! Han gav oss blomster fra hagen deres og inviterte oss ned i vinkjelleren for en overraskelse. Der hadde de en vakker brønn som førte ned i kanalen som vi fikk kaste mynter i og ønske oss noe. Vi fikk også en omvisning av vinsamlingen deres. Kvelden ble avsluttet med limoncello (også på huset!). Og vi fikk også bruschetta - NAM! Takk til Denis for en fin kveld! X con affetto Maria + Anna

Osteria Santa Caterina

14/07/2024: After much badgering, this is where the locals recommended (the locals being scientists). It was a slightly expensive but utterly delightful restaurant, with a cool and quiet seating area in the back and impressively competent and helpful staff. The wine was local and lovely, the cheeses superb, and everything that followed simple but excellent.
06/07/2024: Came here after reading a fantastic recent review. Absolutely amazing. Don’t let the quiet side street fool you, this place has an amazing garden dining area and is clearly a hidden local hot spot. The staff where kind and helpful as we mainly spoke English. The food was fantastic especially the lasagne ragu and tortellini with Parmesan sauce. If feeling adventurous absolutely try the veal with tuna and anchovies cream,it was delicious. Do not go to bologna and miss this place it is a must do.
