The staff knows me by now and always recommends the daily specials with passion and expertise. You can feel the authentic love they have for what they do.The food is simply extraordinary! The Genovese specialties are prepared following traditional grandmother's recipes, with ingredients that are always fresh and top quality. The homemade pesto is a true delight, the focaccia crispy and fragrant, and the traditional Ligurian pasta dishes are a journey through authentic flavors. A real discovery, attracted by the photo of the Paella on the road, we stopped for lunch...very fresh fish and generous portions, all prepared with skill, the service is no less, very kind and accommodating! We will definitely be back

12/08/2025: I've had the pleasure of tasting the delicious cakes prepared by this historic pastry shop in Sestri on several occasions, and I immediately fell in love. The fresh pastries are equally excellent and high-quality. You absolutely must try the Mojito cake (or a single portion), which is probably only made in the summer. It's exceptional, perfect, and you can taste the flavors of all the ingredients, perfectly balanced. I love it!!! The owners and staff are always welcoming, friendly, and kind; you can see the passion they put into their work. Undoubtedly my favorite pastry shop in all of Genoa.
14/07/2025: A historic pastry shop and shop in Sestri, I remember it well already in the mid-seventies when I was just starting elementary school. Then, over the years, and especially with the renovations a couple of years ago, if I'm not mistaken, it also became an excellent café with the pastry shop as its "pièce de résistance." If you ask Germana or her pastry chef brothers (I went to high school with Giorgio!), they will be able to advise and help you with anything (with the utmost expertise and courtesy of those who have been in this profession all their lives!), from cakes to pastries, and with a variety of prices... obviously, the better the product, the more you pay. I've read of people who complained about this very important factor, but I can assure you that, as already said, just ask for an estimate first and then they will adjust based on your needs, as is done everywhere nowadays! 09/09/2025: Da Monica: A great find in Cicagna! I was passing through Cicagna and, looking for a place to eat, I stumbled upon this diner. I was a little confused at first, because at the entrance I saw a counter selling fresh pasta. But once I found the right entrance, I discovered the true heart of the place. I tried the ravioli with meat sauce and I must say the quality was truly excellent. The ravioli were incredibly fresh, the meat sauce flavorful, and the portions were generous. My only small complaint, which doesn't affect my overall rating, concerns the oil, which, in my opinion, wasn't up to par with the deliciousness of the ravioli. The service was very quick, and my dish was served piping hot in no time. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The only thing that could be improved is the table layout, which is a bit too close together. Overall, my rating is absolutely positive. The experience was excellent and I intend to return, perhaps with more time, to try the full menu that intrigued me.
30/07/2025: The fresh pasta dishes, ravioli, tagliatelle, pansoti, etc., are excellent.
