Small family-run restaurant, as long as mum is in the kitchen and then? A few traditional Piedmontese dishes, served under a drink. The fried fish and trout are excellent. Absolutely competitive price

I already went as a child and my parents even before that, now around fifty years old. What can I say, always excellent, always friendly. Genuine and local "hands-on" food, it's like eating with family.
Places like this have become a rarity.

Dated looking country restaurant. If you are looking for a "nice" place it is better to go elsewhere. Personally I appreciate this type of trattoria, the real "piole" of the past, without frills and a lot of substance. Here, however, alas, even the substance leaves something to be desired. A slightly sad appetizer consisting of three slices of salami, two of pancetta coppata, three slices of veal with tuna sauce and a chicken salad that's not bad but a little sour. I skipped the first, the second consisted of two very thin slices of roast without sauce and a side dish with green beans and chips. All quite good but, indeed, little substance. With half a liter of water, a quarter of wine and a decaf I paid €20. Not a lot, of course, but considering it was lunch on a weekday, not even a little. Very friendly manager, clean toilets.

I live in Milan and I come to this restaurant when I'm in the area... Enrico is now a friend, the food that comes out of that kitchen is wonderful.
These places no longer exist in the Milan area.
Go there you won't regret it.

Trattoria conosciuta per caso 2 anni fa; mio marito ed io incuriositi dal nome e, nonostante abitiamo lontano, ogni qualvolta che ci rechiamo verso il pinerolese o la Val Pellice, ci fermiamo a pranzare oppure ci concediamo una semplice passeggiata alla vicinissima Abbazia di Staffarda per poi trasferirci per il pranzo ai Pesci Vivi, molto spesso con amici i quali tutti, sino ad ora, rimasti entusiasti. Ottima qualità del cibo servito con semplice ma estrema gentilezza del titolare che, insieme allo staff della cucina, sanno rendere questo locale famigliare, accogliente. Da provare in estate per pranzare sotto il bellissimo pergolato e per chi adora le anguille, rane o pesciolini fritti è il luogo ideale.
