A wonderful, non-touristy spot for authentic Italian food. The dishes were excellent, and the staff was experienced, polite, and attentive. We left very satisfied with both the meal and the service. With lots of love from Lettonia.❤️

A historic restaurant in the Testaccio neighborhood serving traditional Roman cuisine. We had an excellent fritto misto (supplì, potato croquettes, meatballs, battered zucchini) and various pasta dishes (carbonara, amatriciana, and gricia), all of which were extraordinary. Impeccable service.

The traditional Roman first courses are excellent. The second courses are a disappointment. The atmosphere is noisy. The air conditioning is inadequate.

One of the best places I've eaten in Rome. We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and it's a perfect place for that. The food is hearty, beautifully presented, not a tourist restaurant, but traditional Italian food.

Buona trattoria romana, con tutti i piatti della tradizione: antipasti (fiori di zucca fritti) primi (buona la carbonara e cacio e pepe) se è stagione assaggiate la puntarelle alla romana (con una salsa di acciughe). Ci andrei per i primi, non altro. Camerieri simpatici, sul prezzo .... ho trovato un po' piccole le porzioni per il costo, io ho mangiato un arrosto (erano davvero 3 fettine), una cosa su cui lavorerei per le cinque stelle.

Locale al Testaccio con un allure anni 80 frequentato anche da molti romani a garanzia della genuinità del cibo. Menù tipicamente romano con tutti i classici della cucina capitolina. Carta dei vini striminzita ma dietro suggerimento del cameriere (gentile,simpatico e premuroso) abbiamo bevuto un buon chardonnay laziale. 50 euro a testa molto ben spesi.

07/07/2025: Refreshment like in the good old days, right in the old and historic location, with the writing still there: "communal consumer body". Betta created it with Ivo, they have brought it over twenty years of activity among different refinements and delicacies, with a loving attention also to social inclusion. Thank you.
27/06/2025: A place I have wanted to try for years and finally I managed to go there during a group dinner. What can I say, very high expectations that were not disappointed. I tasted the eggs in tripe which were really good, and the CBT red pig which was delicious. You can feel the care and passion in their dishes. The only flaw, although the quality is unquestionable, is that the prices are a bit high if compared to the portions. There are many wines on the menu and an exceptional tiramisu. To finish, an unforgettable house bitter. Overall, it is absolutely worth a visit.

20/07/2025: Everything was perfect. The carbonara was among the best in Rome (as was the gricia my girlfriend had). The oxtail stew was delicious; the meat melted in your mouth, and the soffritto made it incredibly flavorful. Bonelli, a guarantee of quality and value!
