Good food, but ridiculous wait times with disoriented and non-existent staff. We sat down at 8:30 PM and ordered at 9:00 PM. The two appetizers arrived after half an hour, and the main courses arrived at 10:30 PM (when we asked the waitress how long it would take for the main courses, she disappeared and never returned). We tried again for dessert, but after a 25-minute wait, we canceled the order and paid the bill. It wasn't our first time there, but it will be our last... shame.

A very quaint and well-maintained location, a lovely menu, attention to detail in the service, and a great setting. The parmigiana meatballs, the busiate pasta with capers and eggplant, and the bacio pasta were excellent. The Pantelleria salad and couscous were less flavorful. The house wine left something to be desired, but it was very affordable. Prices were overall okay. Service was a bit slow, taking 45 minutes for appetizers when the place was still mostly empty. But the atmosphere was lovely, and the time flew by. The waitress was very friendly. Recommended.

Very nice location, though parking isn't easy. I have to say the food was average, but the service was truly awful. It's a shame to see places that make literally no effort yet charge prices that are completely out of proportion to what they offer.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write something about this place. Intrigued by the reputation of this trattoria, we booked as soon as we arrived. Nothing to complain about: a stunning location, impeccable service, and the staff and owners were super kind and friendly. We ate wonderfully; the dishes were exceptional, meticulously prepared with the freshest ingredients. They also paid special attention to gluten-free options. We were so pleased that my boyfriend and I returned the following day without tiring of this place. We felt at home and hope to return in the future.

Attracted by the widespread publicity following Borghese's victory in the Pantelleria challenge, we went as a group full of expectations. Despite the excellent ingredients, the cuisine was very inconsistent: a tasting appetizer with inedible octopus and warm eggplant meatballs with cold tomatoes, seafood carbonara with tuna lacking in flavor, Pantelleria-style rabbit delicious but served cold to some, and other dishes like busiate were tastier. In other words, some dishes were good, others were osteria-like. Service was unreliable, the order of dishes was completely off: first courses were brought with the appetizers and then taken back. The wait times between courses were worthy of a wedding banquet. Waiters had to be chased at every request, even for a simple bottle of water. Dishes were left on the table for up to 20 minutes. Desserts were average, including the famous Bacio Pantesco. All for a bill of €50 per person, and no one asked how we enjoyed our meal, just interested in cashing in. If this is the best, I can't imagine the other restaurants Borghese has tried, or maybe that was a particularly lucky day. Not to be repeated.

I ate well, the staff was friendly and never intrusive, and I paid the right amount, but I reserve the negative comment for the owner. I arrived early, and at a certain point the place filled up (good for you). The owner was very present at certain tables, but when it came time to pay for me, I found her very cold, lacking the slightest bit of empathy or friendliness. Perhaps only asking if I had a good time, how I had eaten, or anything else. She told me the price and, without even looking at me, took the payment. I find that sometimes it takes very little to not neglect a customer, even if they aren't—or rather, I'd say especially—a resident or regular.

This trattoria is the winner of Alessandro Borghese's "4 Ristoranti" show... perhaps its success has contributed to the loss of the "genuine" Pantellerian spirit and one has the feeling of being just a number due to the lack of attention. Nothing to say about the location, but that's not enough!!!
