We left Turin specifically to have lunch at the panoramic Sarroc restaurant, and we were more than satisfied.
The food was truly excellent, from appetizer to dessert, and the wine and coffee were also excellent.
Compliments to the chef.

With a group of friends, we went for "bagna cauda day." The place was nice, fairly convenient for parking, and the panoramic view is only available if you're upstairs, but there are limited seats and the view is "cut" by several cables.
The price was expensive for the amount of food; the bagna cauda was very salty and you couldn't taste the garlic at all; a bowl of vegetables with a raw egg that took 20 minutes to cook; we had to beg for bread, and only the "bottoms" of the ciabatta bread arrived—sliced bread was good but barely counted—a small raw meatball, and a thin slice of bonet!
Not even once did they ask if anyone wanted more. Even though someone was still eating, they started clearing the table and were even taking away the typical "bib"—it seemed like they wanted us to leave.
The wines were plentiful and good, but that's not enough...
Very disappointing...

Very nice restaurant. Nice and knowledgeable staff. Luckily we hit the season for white truffles. Several in the group ate the truffle menu with raw steak, tagliatelle, fried egg and ice cream. All dishes with grated white truffle on top. Very good.

Booked for the location and the panoramic view of Monferrato from the upper floor, as well as for the food. Unfortunately, this time I didn't have a great experience... I left with a headache due to a dog that barked throughout the entire meal (without anyone, waiters or the dog's owners, bothering to resolve the issue to avoid disturbing other diners). Perhaps, like me, guests had chosen that room for the quiet or special occasion.
They were kind in offering a welcome aperitif with a local salami upon arrival.
The appetizers were excellent (peppers with bagna cauda and baked goat's cheese with honeyed figs). I was disappointed with the first course... the tagliatelle dish, which I thought was more like tagliolini, and overcooked. They kindly changed my dish. I chose agnolotti, asking for them al dente... it's a shame they arrived overcooked, with so little sauce that they almost seemed reheated.
So I abandoned the idea of continuing with the first course... I asked for a medium-cooked sliced steak... unfortunately, it arrived overcooked...
I asked if I wanted dessert... but it wasn't worth continuing with that dog who kept screaming...
If you don't introduce rules for animals out of respect for other diners who might have come there for a quiet lunch or for a special occasion... You risk, like me, leaving with a headache and stomachache... despite the high price of the meal.
