02/01/2025: Let's start by saying that I recommend the restaurant and for a very good reason: you eat well and you spend the right amount. And when a restaurant offers good products on the plate, then everything else goes by the wayside.
I also add that I hadn't booked and I was alone and I know that economically, for a restaurateur I'm a bad customer who occupies a table for 2. Despite this, they were able to find me a place in the outdoor area, without too many problems. Medal.
Since it was the middle of winter it was a bit chilly, the table was set a la "va la Peppone", but the service was fast. The waitress, very unprepared, denied me a sachet of sweetener just because of the hassle of going to get it. Sin.
The food was excellent, 4 cheese and mushroom crostini that moved me and the pork stew in Sagrantino that really satisfied me, both in taste and portion size. Baked potatoes, excellent. A glass of Sagrantino, very good. A coffee (with half a bag of sugar, meh).
All in all, in a jungle of catering, between fusion, brunch and aperitif, long live trattorias like this, with their strengths and weaknesses, but which fulfill their purpose: they send you away with a full belly and a good taste in your mouth.
I conclude by reiterating my positive impression and my advice to go and try the local specialties. They know how to do them.
29/12/2024: In this restaurant in Todi not only do you eat very well, but all those who work there are true professionals who know how to do their job with great passion. So I recommend it both for the food and for the environment and care.
