Trattoria Pallotta In Assisi

In the heart of Assisi's historic center, at Vicolo della Volta Pinta, at number 3, is an excellent family-run restaurant. It's intimate and elegant, run by delightful people who love their work and invite you to sample fragrant dishes and new, sophisticated flavors, while still embracing Umbrian tradition. We were able to have lunch under the vaulted ceiling, where a lovely breeze caresses you, making our stop pleasant on a scorching day. We chose a caponata strudel with perfectly balanced flavors, truly amazing. We followed it with breaded cod meatballs on a saffron cream, garnished with berries, and lamb with baked potatoes. A quarter white, a quarter red, and coffee. Lunch in front of the Temple of Minerva was a unique experience, even though the restaurant itself offers a very welcoming atmosphere inside. Thank you for providing a moment of well-being.

Excellent food, we especially loved the Stangozzi with truffle and the in maialino da latte. The service was very good even though it was a busy evening.

My parents and I went here, and I have to say we had a great time. The food was delicious. I noticed a few flaws with the service. They took away our water, and we were left without it for 10 minutes (they probably had other orders and forgot, but it wasn't a big deal). Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was excellent and clean.

The outdoor dining area is located under the frescoed vault of the town hall (beautiful!), and the interior is typical of a welcoming trattoria. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Recommended!

The food was average, nothing exceptional. As soon as we arrived, they invited us to order right away because the kitchen closed at 9:30 PM. It was August 14th, and it's unthinkable to close a kitchen that early.

Abbiamo cenato la sera di Pasquetta, personale gentile, un po' sbrigativo il servizio, ma ci sta , vista la giornata caotica. Abbiamo preso antipasti e primi ottimi. Consigliato!
