We booked on the recommendation of some people in Assisi and had a great time. We tried an appetizer of delicious cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by torta di testo. We then ordered two first courses: strangozzi with mushrooms, olives, and cheeses, ravioli with gorgonzola fondue and walnuts, and then lamb chops served with baked potatoes, which I think were the best potatoes I've ever eaten. The very kind owner offered us a dessert, the "bocciato" (I think that's how it's spelled), a very tasty strudel. Average price: €35 per person. Recommended.

Excellent trattoria in the center of Assisi. Typical Umbrian dishes, good service. We ate delicious strangozzi with truffles and drank an excellent bottle of local red wine. The desserts were also delicious.
The lady, I believe the owner, was very kind. Recommended!

In the heart of Assisi's historic center, at Vicolo della Volta Pinta, at number 3, is an excellent family-run restaurant. It's intimate and elegant, run by delightful people who love their work and invite you to sample fragrant dishes and new, sophisticated flavors, while still embracing Umbrian tradition. We were able to have lunch under the vaulted ceiling, where a lovely breeze caresses you, making our stop pleasant on a scorching day. We chose a caponata strudel with perfectly balanced flavors, truly amazing. We followed it with breaded cod meatballs on a saffron cream, garnished with berries, and lamb with baked potatoes. A quarter white, a quarter red, and coffee. Lunch in front of the Temple of Minerva was a unique experience, even though the restaurant itself offers a very welcoming atmosphere inside. Thank you for providing a moment of well-being.
