A unique place, with a very good à la carte menu. We had a great time and were welcomed by the staff more like guests than customers. And with recommendations on what to order, dedicated to local flavors.

Heavily locals/italians to the point where (some of them) talk about the English speakers. No problem if you have tough skin I guess :)
Food and service were excellent and a truly incredible meal. Highly recommend. This is easily the best place we ate in Assisi.

We had the rabbit and the sucking pig. This place is a 10/10. This is the kind of food you would want for your last meal on earth. Everything was amazing from the tender meat to the sauce. They truly know what they are doing. I don't have a picture of the pork because it was too good for my wife to wait for the photo opt.

Exceptional experience, attentive, competent, and extremely friendly service, delicious dishes accompanied by a Grechetto di Assisi (recommended by the staff) that enhanced the flavor, and the icing on the cake: a very balanced zuppa inglese that cleansed our palate (something a dessert normally doesn't do) with its freshness and delicacy. Final surprise: excellent value for money... thanks to Pallotta for pampering us, we leave Assisi with the desire to return as soon as possible.

This restaurant offers a portion of its menu based on seasonal ingredients. We felt welcomed by the bread made with olive oil and salt and the truly warm and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it and would definitely return, just to try the chestnut and sage gnocchi again!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while strolling through Assisi, and it was a delightful discovery.
There were five of us, and we began lunch with typical Umbrian appetizers, well-prepared and full of authentic flavors. Next, we chose various traditional first courses: the portions were just right, not large, but well-prepared.
We then ordered meat-based main courses, which were fragrant and well-cooked. We rounded out the meal with desserts, which were truly delicious and carefully presented.
Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent overall quality of the dishes: a truly worthwhile stop if you're in Assisi for a good lunch!
