Trattoria Osteria dall'Oste In Firenze

A delicious Florentine T-bone, the attention 10/10, pleasant atmosphere, good recommendations and exquisite food

On Sunday 29 December, we had dinner at Trattoria Dall'Oste Oricellari in via degli Orti Oricellari in Florence. Our meal included cold cuts, bruschetta, a Florentine steak with potatoes, cheesecake and coffee. The meat was of good quality, but the baked potatoes were disappointing: excessively loaded with garlic, they seemed more suited to the tastes of tourists than to the Italian culinary tradition. Despite this, the cuisine was overall satisfactory, with prices adequate for the quality offered. The bill amounted to €99. At the checkout, the girl (with an Albanian accent and long, dark hair) did not provide us with the receipt and withheld the change in euros without asking. It's not so much the sum itself, but the principle: the customer should decide whether to leave the tip, not the staff take it without consent. This behavior compromised our overall experience in the restaurant. We won't be returning; in Florence there are many other quality restaurants with greater attention to the customer.

Nice place with a good choice of meats. Showcase a show. At our table served Florentine steak (very good) and scottona fillets with mushrooms which were wonderful. Convenient if you have to take the train to get around. Very kind staff. Price......well the meat is expensive but I would say normal for the place.

The Fiorentina steak was so tasty and juicy! The meat quality is top tier for sure. The truffle pasta with sausage was probably the best I ever eat. We also took some sides spinach salad ans roasted potatoes, its definitely needed for the amount of meat that you have. Staff were great and friendly!

Supposedly one of the top 101 steak restaurants in the world. It's a lie, in the Rio de la Plata there are more than 100 restaurants, and they all beat this one :) Italian food is very overrated, the meat from this place can be found in much better quality and flavor for less than a quarter of the price in my country. The staff and atmosphere of the restaurant is very good.

This has been our best meal in Italy quite beyond everything else we have tried. It’s been absolutely fabulous. I will never forget my pasta with salsiccia, burrata and truffle, it was heaven really. The spaghetti carbonara were tasty, mild flavour and on the point. As dolce we had tiramisu so fresh and nice (the best we have tried in our trip) and the pastry filled with cream. The restaurant is lovely, I love the decoration and the atmosphere very charming to enjoy a dinner. The service very attentive and professional, just to point that one of the waitresses was chewing a gum in a way not very polite.

First restaurant of our weekend here in Florence, I must say that the quality of the products and the service particularly surprised us. The guys were able to advise us well, the atmosphere was very intimate and formal. Highly recommended we will be back.

The prices are quite high.... But the quality is good!!!

Posto tranquillo personale gentile e cibo super. Abbiamo preso la fiorentina di chianina super spettacolare il personale ci ha consigliato la cottura. Servizio veloce e attento. Menù cucina toscana ottimo.

Il posto e' molto carino e curato, la carne è la cottura erano di buonissimo livello. Peccato perche' i prezzi sono il punto dolente ;per una famiglia e' proibitivo ma forse e' la strategia di marcheting.
