This was my favorite food in Florence it was so good we went back the very next night to have the lune piene it was delicious!! The staff are so nice and helpful. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. If you’re looking for a traditional meal in a family owned restaurant you should definitely go here!!!

The food here was so good we came back the very next night just to have the lune piene again. The service was amazing too. The staff were so nice and helpful. I loved the wine recommendation so much that I bought a bottle to take back home and they packaged it up so it would travel well in my luggage. If you are looking for traditional food in a family owned restaurant this is your place!

This is a cosy, beautiful restaurant with very kind and attentive staff. The food was excellent and fairly priced. The best carbora I've ever had! 11/10 ☺️

Superb discovery (on the advice of our host during the stay). The food is excellent, we even went there twice. The first the pasta, succulent with the sauce, and the second time to share the beef Florentine style. I highly recommend it, it’s definitely worth it!

Just had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The value for money is simply excellent. The food is delicious, fresh and carefully prepared. But what struck me most was the welcoming and familiar atmosphere: I felt like I was at home! The staff were very friendly and helpful, making me feel like an old friend. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty meal and a relaxed atmosphere. Thanks Domenico and thanks Jessica. We will definitely see each other again.

Una giornata realizzata all’ultimo. Sono stati carinissimi a trovare un tavolo per 7 persone. Per far sì che tutti potessero fare una completa esperienza della cucina toscana abbiamo, dietro meravigliosi suggerimenti del personale, optato per un giro di antipasti composto da taglieri di salumi e formaggi e poi ci siamo immersi nelle mitiche fiorentine, cotte sapientemente e di ottimo sapore. Accompagnate da contorni come fagioli all’uccelletto, patate arrosto e altre verdure. Abbiamo concluso con dei dolci abbondanti e un caffè. Ottimo il riguardo verso i clienti e nei confronti dei bambini presenti. Personale presente e attento ma non invasivo. Il posto è accogliente e piacevole.

Osteria di medie/piccole dimensioni nel centro di Firenze fuori dalle rotte frequentate dai turisti. Già entrando abbiamo notato che diversi erano toscani e dalla pronuncia direi proprio di Firenze. Direi che non poteva che essere positivo vedere che i locali frequentavano il locale. Prezzi nella media essendo a pranzo e piatti ben prepararti sia di pesce che di carne. Menzione speciale per i tagliolini al tartufo bianco piatto fuori menu. Servizio molto cortese e veloce. Dal propietario alle ragazze di sala hanno dimestichezza e si sono saputo destreggiare bene anche con l' inglese necessario visto che eravamo con degli australiani.

12/05/2025: We had an unforgettable dinner at Osteria De’ Medici. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentically Tuscan. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food… absolutely outstanding. We started with the tagliere of local cured meats and cheeses — generous and full of flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked and full of rich, homemade flavor, and the tagliata di manzo was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Italy: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served with care. To finish, the house-made mascarpone cream with chocolate crumble was light and creamy — the perfect end to a perfect meal. Everything, from the quality of the ingredients to the cozy setting, made us feel like we were experiencing true Tuscan hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — I’d go back without hesitation!
01/05/2025: Outside the major tourist destinations (we were heading towards Florence), this pearl is located 2 minutes from the motorway. By far the best meal of the entire holiday, better than many renowned Florentine restaurants. Top raw materials, we ate the best fillet ever. But the rest is also excellent, from the tomato soup to the croutons. There were Roman workers who stop there on purpose when they travel and I said it all.

02/06/2025: My wife and I visited this elegantly rustic retreat for a private cooking class. It's location alone is breathtaking! Eleonora and her staff were so welcoming and in a short time we felt like family. I would stay, eat, experience this gem again!
21/05/2025: I stayed at this relais for work reasons. I recommend it in all aspects. Beautiful location, comfortable, prepared and helpful staff. They brought forward breakfast at my request. Restaurant up to par.
