A nice place we had dined in twice (the first visit was better). The ambience is very local and welcoming. Run by Dominic and served by 2 waitresses, all working fast and efficient. So no long waiting times for your order. They had daily specials. During our visit those were tuna tartar, tuna steak, eggplant flan on crema di parmigiana. All the dishes were well prepared, nicely served. We received good recommendations for the white wine - Offida Pecorino and di Gino from San Lorenzo. I especially recommend the eggplant flan and their cheesecake with strawberry sauce (the salty caramel sauce was overburnt and was very bitter). Recommend to book a table in advance.
Good value for your money.

It often happens that we go to que ganzi, quality food and well served by all the helpful and kind staff. Good menu and wine list where good advice on pairings is given. Advised.

The food, the wine, the service, everything is just so great. You could really tell the waiter really knows and loved the food they serve and what wine to recommend. Must visit again!

After a few weeks in Italy, this was the first restaurant where the staff took the time to explain the menu in detail. We'd stumbled in with all our luggage and ended up having most of the lunch menu. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. They use pork lard in some of their sauces, with an excellent pate on bruschetta.

A cena in coppia, locale carino in centro, menù di mare e di terra. Abbiamo preso lampredotto e filetto di maiale al pepe verde con contorno di patate e fagioli. Piatti buoni, saporiti, servizio cordiale e veloce. Vino della casa migliorabile ma in alternativa la carta dei vini è lunghissima
Prezzi nella media, consigliato.

Lovely restaurant near Santa Croce with an unusual menu for Florence (they serve many fish-based dishes in the "meat Capital of Italy"). Our wairess was very friendly and efficiente.
