A sincere trattoria, which eschews all gastro-chic or Instagrammable fashions to be what it should be: a place where you eat well, in an informal atmosphere. No photos of Montalbano in the club, but real photos of real people. No Sicilianness at a price per kilo for tourists from the north who want the replica of the Sicily they have in mind. A place for those who live in Ragusa and want to eat as a Ragusa native. In summary: Costa Picca and Sapi Beddu. Indeed beautiful!

Seeing it passing by on the street you wouldn't think it was a nice place, but it is! Away from the places most crowded by tourists, it offers traditional dishes, well made, with attention to detail from preparation to plating. Very courteous and helpful staff. Clean environment, generous portions and original menu that varies with the proposals of the day. We were pleasantly surprised and highly recommend it.

03/01/2025: Locale accogliente, personale cordiale, abbiamo cenato alla Locanda Del Marchese la notte di San Silvestro con piatti ben preparati e deliziosi, di alto livello. Le portate curate nei minimi dettagli. Sergio, Eva ed Alessandra sono davvero dolcissimi e molto ospitali. Consiglio vivamente di pranzare li anche per godere della spettacolare vista sul nostro splendido mare.
