Complimenti è stato esattamente quello che mi aspettavo. Tradizione rispettata, qualità eccellente con alcune novità degne di essere rivissute. Costo perfetto.
Un consiglio, riflettete bene sul menù non esagerate altrimenti rischiate di pagare cibo che rimane nel piatto.

On Sunday for lunch we went to this restaurant located in the historic center of Villa Celiera... presenting itself beyond expectations for a trattoria. We ordered a hot and cold starter to split between two…. Right quantity and excellent quality. Followed by a portion of spectacular pasta alla molinara and a portion of ravioli with sauce which was unfortunately disappointing as they were decidedly overcooked and the ricotta didn't have a great flavour. To conclude, a portion of lamb with salad... very good but another piece of meat would not have disappointed expectations regarding quantity. Leaving aside the food which was more than good with the exception of the ravioli, we were speechless when we didn't find the kebabs on the menu... it's not possible that they are missing in the homeland of kebabs.
As for the bill, we spent €60 for what is written in the review, without wine.
To the question “will you come back?” I reply “no, reluctantly”.

Cucina dei vecchi tempi, prodotti veramente eccezionali, Alessandra, la titolare va sempre alla ricerca di prodotti del territorio e li trasforma in cucina, da una lontane ricette della tradizione. Il locale è stato aperto dal nonno, Liborio appunto nel 1928. Che dire! Chiunque dovrebbe andare ad assaggiare queste prelibatezze.

Fantastic restaurant in a small town very characteristic for mountain life, famous for its kebabs. The restaurant has been family-run for a long time and you can feel that this love has poured into not only the furnishings but also the Abruzzo cuisine. Simple dishes, plenty of it, you certainly won't go out with an empty stomach 😄. In fact, you wouldn't want to go out at all, you would still be there tasting hand-made La Molinara pasta with a nice sauce

They told me that in Villa Celiera there is a nice, welcoming, clean restaurant where they make excellent pasta and a delicious roast and a fair bill. It's all true, I'll be back on Sunday....

At Villa Celiera, a typical mountain restaurant, a very welcoming rustic atmosphere, good starters, excellent first courses and roast lamb, the only flaw is that they don't make Arrosticini. Advised

we had lunch with a group of friends, welcomed and treated well with tasty local dishes at reasonable costs......We returned recently and were always welcomed to enjoy some typical dishes
