Last night I went with my family for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. The staff who welcomed us and served us were extremely kind and accommodating to our every request. We ate excellent traditional Ligurian dishes, generous in quantity and authentic. We will definitely be back.

We had lunch at Trattoria Nestin and we were thrilled. The place is truly characteristic: a peaceful corner among the greenery, perfect for those seeking relaxation and good authentic Ligurian cuisine. The dishes are exceptional, genuine and abundant: special mention for the focaccette, irresistible and fragrant! But what makes this place truly special is the kindness of Mrs. Tamara, a Ukrainian lady who with her sympathy and ENERGY gave us a lunch full of smiles. Such a warm welcome is rare to find nowadays. In addition, the prices are very honest: an excellent quality-price ratio for such genuine cuisine. Highly recommended for those who love good food and a sincere welcome. We will definitely be back!

With my wife and a couple of friends we had dinner in this restaurant trattoria of typical Ligurian cuisine located on the heights of Sori about 7 kms from Sori at one of the various outdoor tables overlooking the woods and there are also indoor tables. You can park easily along the road. As appetizers we ordered various focaccias, gongorzola and distracchino focaccias, a Russian salad and cuculli. As first courses, pesto battolli, ravioli with meat sauce, tagliolini with mushrooms and 2 chestnut lasagnette with walnut sauce. As dessert: 3 lemon sorbets 1 vodka sorbet 1 panna cotta with strawberries Really everything was good, delicious, abundant. The Ukrainian waitress was welcoming, smiling, competent, professional, friendly and helpful and the service was very attentive and fast and the prices were really good. Il locale è un pó vintage, la sala ristorante non è illuminatissima, potrebbe essere riscaldata meglio, ma è pulita ed i tavoli sono apparecchiati con tovaglioli di stoffa. Il personale è molto gentile. I bagni sono esterni e sono il punto debole. Il voto nel complesso è generoso ma premia il cibo, la cortesia ed il rapporto qualità prezzo. Ottime le focaccette, buoni i tagliolini ai funghi

06/09/2025: Excellent Ligurian specialties, from farinata to minestrone, from ravioli aü tuccu to fried anchovies... I was able to make a reservation, and I think it's much better to do so, given how busy it is... Truly a great place, also for introducing Ligurian cuisine to friends who are visiting from out of town!!! Prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of the dishes!!!
27/08/2025: The restaurant isn't affordable for the average person. I mention this for those who might still be misled about the nature of this former tavern, now a renowned restaurant. The price, however, is amply justified by the quality of the cuisine, which is simply superb. Farinata, vegetable fillings, anchovies: everything is simply delicious. The table service, however, leaves a bit to be desired. There's a certain improvisation, something that unfortunately has become increasingly common since COVID. Worse, since this is no longer a typical trattoria, diners aren't offered a menu. The waiter is sent with an order book, as if it were still a relatively inexpensive trattoria. Finally, I realize it's foolish to order beer in a place like this. But they can't even serve a bad beer.

27/08/2025: Angelo's was recommended to me as the best focaccia in Recco, and indeed it is. Recco cheese focaccia is the best I've ever eaten. My family also loved it, and they were amazed by its deliciousness! No, that's not true! It's not expensive at all. In fact, excellent value for money!! We'll be back soon!
