We found this by chance on a Sunday when it seemed all of Potenza was closed. It's tucked back a bit off the road but so wonderful! The local people explained to us how the different dishes were made. The owner & staff were very welcoming. We had lasagna, a thick pasta with bacon, a veal in wine sauce with mashed potatoes. We could not resist dessert of tiramasu and a Sicilian cake with nuts & chocolate. Not everyone liked the house red wine, but you may also order by the bottle, which I did. Don't miss it! One of the top 2 places we have eaten in Italy during our 4 weeks of driving around various regions.

Restaurant located in the city of Potenza, it has very nice facilities, decorated with cycling items from the owner and some well-known cyclists in Italy. In relation to the food, the experience was excellent and I tried some pasta with a typical sauce from the Lucania area and for dessert a tiramisu that was from another planet, the quality of the products and the attention of the staff stood out.

From the appetizer to the dessert it is difficult to go wrong, I gave the chef carte blanche telling him that I wanted to eat typical Lucanian food, and so it was...
appetizer of cured meats with grilled cheeses, a second course of first courses accompanied with your own typical cheese, a second course of cod with sweet bran pepper, coffee and ammazzacaffè (made with bay leaves).

Trattoria with a strong identity, the owner's passion for cycling can be felt throughout the place. On the walls there are t-shirts reminiscent of the competitions, above them dozens of trophies and plaques. In the menu proposals there are typical traditional dishes, generous portions without sacrificing taste. If I have the chance I will return soon.

We were returning from Pietragalla and were looking for a typical place where we could taste the Lucanian products that we like so much. We found this restaurant by chance and we regret not having known about it before. Unquestionable quality and prices, as well as dishes with excellent raw materials. Really very friendly staff. Super recommended!

Abbiamo scelto questo posto consigliati dal proprietario del Beb in cui alloggiamo.
Siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla gentilezza e dall’accoglienza del personale che ci ha servito delle ottime pietanze, dall’ antipasto al dolce. I nostri preferiti sono stati gli strascinati con mollicata e crusci, ottimi!

Ci sono passato spesso dinnanzi ma l'ho sempre scartato per via della mancanza di un parcheggio; poi con degli amici non lucani abbiamo deciso di fermarci ed è stata una vera rivelazione. Si mangia veramente bene, menù vario e attento al territorio, vini locali e non, hai anche la possibilità di ordinare e portare via l'ordinazione. Personale gentile e prezzo equo. Ah dimenticavo la sera è anche pizzeria.
