Excellent restaurant. We were very well attended to, and all the staff were very friendly. The food was very well served (large portions) and had an exceptional flavor. Definitely worthy of many stars!

Homemade dishes, abundant and with good flavour. Excellent value for money. The 2 of us had 2 first courses with crusco pepper, excellent, 1 braised meat with mashed potatoes, very good, it melted in the mouth, a side dish of grilled vegetables, 2 desserts, we spent 45 euros. I would happily return.

“Strascinati mollicati e cruschi” e “brasato di vitello con purè”: tutto buono, casereccio, abbondante, artigianale, ruspante, a km 0 (o giù di lì). Consigliatissimo.

Come mangiare a casa di nonna! Una cucina che definire genuina è riduttivo. Sapori veri, materie prime eccellenti, ed un gusto che è una sinfonia di tradizione. Se cercate una trattoria dove mangiare i piatti della cucina lucana, preparati con maestria e presentati come a casa di nonna, vieni a provare Da Mimmo il ciclista.

05/05/2025: Posto da visitare, tutto quello che c'è da uno antipasto centrale oppure carne grigliata, pasta, risotto, patate al forno, verdure grigliata, tutto e buonissimo. Attenzione dei lavoratori veloce, cortese ed amabili. Io provo ad arrivare ogni 1 - 2 settimane per pranzo. Dovete prenotare, quasi sempre e pieno, io vi consiglio questo..... Se volete assaggiare una vera cucina, andate a mangiare in questo posto.
03/05/2025: Awsome, fullly recommended. The waiters didnt spoke a word on english, but they made sure we understand eachother with translate. We had appitizer and first dish, and we ware full. The dishes are big and tasty. On top of that excellent bottle of white wine for 10 eur.

Trattoria Al Vecchio Scarpone

25/05/2025: When searching on social media for a restaurant where you can eat in Castelmezzano, it is the most mentioned. We had a great time.... Satisfying fixed menu and excellent quality food.... very helpful owners. We will definitely return.
22/05/2025: Great place to eat a meal. Pasta was amazing but second to the meat dishes. Would recommend 100%
