The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the meat served with various types of salt. It's truly delicious and of the highest quality. The appetizers and first courses are also very well-prepared. The restaurant is small, and if you're upstairs, you'll be quite cramped—not ideal if you're looking for an intimate place to converse in peace.

The best Florentine steak of all time. Really beautiful location. A little noisy, but the staff was very knowledgeable and courteous.

Very nice location, near Porta Romana. High-quality food and ingredients. I tried the Chianti tuna and Pontremoli pattoncine on a bed of cannellini beans with sage and purple potatoes—a delight for the palate. The homemade pici with red wine braised beef was delicious, and the pan-fried Swiss chard was excellent. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

Locale dentro più carino che fuori. Abbiamo preso una fiorentina e sul menu c'era scritto l tavolo per 2 persone e a lato 40€. Non c'era prezzo al chilo e pensavo fossero tutti tagli fatti a misura di 40€ non tanto grandi, come poi infatti si è rivelato anche perché di osso ce n'era tantissimo. Pensavamo fosse un prezzo conveniente mentre invece era 40€ a testa. Non posso giurare non fosse scritto, ma in piccolo, sul menu, ma la sala interna per quanto carina è molto buia per cui gli errori di lettura ci possono stare, e specificare in chiaro sarebbe dovuto, e sarebbe più corretto dire un prezzo al kilo. La carne era buona ma di fiorentine migliori ne esistono tante. Interessanti gli antipasti ben presentati e in porzioni adeguate, non particolarmente attraenti, a leggerli, i dolci anche se quello preso era buono. Ampia la scelta di vini. Nel complesso la serata è stata sicuramente piacevole, salvo la sorpresa del conto salato, anche per i 4 € di coperto - in realtà un asciugapiatti steso sul tavolo e 3 € a bottiglia d'acqua. Posto che ci sta, se ti piace un bell'ambiente rustico chic, e se non ti preoccupa spendere più di quanto forse merita la carne che vi servono, buona ma non eccellente
