Trattoria Mezzavalle In Ancona

Shack on the beach in Mezzavalle, you can reach it on foot along a dirt road that has to be done uphill on the way back: not easy, but absolutely worth the experience. The place is amazing, under a tin roof and on a wooden plank, long tables on which you sit side by side. The gaze extends far away, the colors of the sea and the white rock, the sound of the waves, the wooded slopes of the Conero, the scent of the pines... the beauty of the place is added to the trays of mussels, tagliatelle with seafood, risottos with prawns, grilled fish... you can also find the post :)

Splendid trattoria on the Mezzavalle beach. Menu with few seafood dishes but good and fresh. The only negative note was the confusion about the service: when asked what beers you have, we were only answered in relation to bottled beers and not the possibility of ordering a medium on tap. Even the cover charge of 3.50 is perhaps excessive. Overall though it was a pleasant lunch with a great view.

Excellent location if not the only one as soon as you go down (thank you for not breaking a leg as happened to a girl today). The menu doesn't offer much... in reality it only exists verbally. The seafood tagliatelle lacked seafood (two mussels and a few clams), the white wine was ok.

We used it as an outpost for beer and pizzas, the quality is not excellent, but for being the monopoly on the beach we expected worse. It's exactly what you need, nothing more, nothing less. 2 beers 1 pizza €12

It has changed management and unlike previous years we had a very good time! Family run, super courteous, we had 2 very good salads and 2 glasses of wine! Personally I liked the ceramic plates instead of the plastic ones of previous years!! I would also like to add for those who complain about the prices and the effort it takes to get to this paradise that the owners and staff of the restaurant also make the effort, and the price will be appropriate to this context, the work of these people in my opinion it should be appreciated, because if they weren't there you would have to make do in different ways instead they give a service that is not to be taken for granted given the place, and being able to eat a lasagna in this place is priceless if it's good and given with a smile! If we started to appreciate other people's work and commitment a little more without taking it for granted, we would live much better They usually open at 9.30 in the morning!

Everything was fair. We were afraid to enter and order food due to poor ratings (2,3 stars) but we arrived to this beautiful beach without any food, we were hungry so we took a chance. Everything was ok, food was a bit too salty for our taste, apart from that simple but good, the portions were pretty big, staff was nice and quick despite it was busy at the time. Place needs a bit of lifting, since it has even more potential due to this amazing spot and view. Don’t be afraid to enter and have a good time. :)

For those who appreciate simplicity, authenticity is the meeting with hard-working, sincere, pleasant people. The food is great. Fresh fish and authentic cuisine. The splendid terrace offers the ideal setting to find yourself happy, satisfied, excited. Romance and relaxation. I thank you for your commitment and humanity.

Per chi apprezza la semplicità, la genuinità è l'incontro con persone operose, sincere, piacevoli. Il cibo è ottimo. Pesce fresco e cucina verace. La splendida terrazza offre la cornice ideale per ritrovarsi felici, soddisfatti, emozionati. Romanticismo e relax. Ringrazio per l'impegno e l'umanità.

Place with sea view on one of the most beautiful beaches!! Reading the other reviews I have to say that we were lucky since we didn't book and we were seated immediately.. We order two first courses and a fried dish, the first courses are very good and plentiful, while there is a negative note for the fried food, or rather, for the quantity, too little for 16 euros. However, a recommended place if like us you find yourself without lunch on this beach.
