A good Aperol and the view makes it all worthwhile

I'll start by saying that I sincerely hope this wonderful place isn't ruined by political changes, etc. We're in the most natural and pristine spot in the entire Conero! It's true that we were there in September, so the crowds are certainly lower than in the mid-summer months, but any seaside destination during that time will definitely have a wait. The beauty of this place is the delicious home cooking of a family that's been here since 1960! You don't come to be served like in a Michelin-starred restaurant...you come for the deliciousness and authenticity of the dishes (the tagliatelle with clam sauce is fabulous!), for the smile of the 77-year-old woman who still gets emotional when she talks about her entire life spent in the same place...you come for the peace and tranquility this place offers. If anyone doesn't understand this, I feel sorry for them...

Easy & chill local spot with a beautiful view. Had lunch here with our family at the end of the trek down to the beach - the food hit the spot. We had the Lasagna & some fried squid+shrimp and they were delicious. If you’re a super chill person who speaks fluent Italian, the service is good. For my family who sort of speak a dialect, it was a little bit slow & we had a bit of misunderstanding due to language barrier. Friendly enough to get what we needed and enjoy our first moments at the beach. You can also grab takeout to bring down to the beach which is great.

Eating well-cooked fish in a place like this is a real treat after a long hike up the steep path. Excellent fried fish, well-cooked mussels, and friendly staff, always ready to chat. Worth trying again and again, perhaps avoiding the busy summer weekends... Mo

Few meters from beach, little restaurant with local sea food.

This restaurant is the only one on Mezzavalle beach and has a spectacular view, literally, of the sea. The food is excellent. We had the tagliatelle (although my girlfriend had originally chosen spaghetti, but I'll get to that now) and the seafood gnocchi, and they were truly delicious. Unfortunately, the service is very chaotic, and although the waiters are very kind, it generally leaves a lot to be desired. The tablecloth wasn't changed, leaving the previous one covered in crumbs. Furthermore, after an hour of waiting, we asked how our order was and were told they'd forgotten to send it to the kitchen, which is why they recommended the tagliatelle because it's quicker to make. To apologize for the inconvenience, they generously portioned the food, which we greatly appreciated. The cook herself, a very nice elderly lady, came over to apologize and very kindly suggested we mop up the sauce with bread. Despite the negative reviews, the place isn't bad. They could definitely pay a little more attention to detail. Finally, it's not exactly cheap. €48 for two, including two first courses and two Cokes.

After a long walk on a very rough path, I can say that the Trattoria sulla roccia is incredible! Romantic atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. A perfect day!
