A typical Salento restaurant, I'd say family-run. There were three of us with a small dog, and we'd made reservations without any problems.
Everything was very good, tasty, and at the end of the meal they offered us a tart (baked, like everything else, by the owner's wife) with orange marmalade.
I would gladly return.

We went to Trattoria Messapica for dinner and it was a truly wonderful experience! 🌟
Excellent food, generous and authentic dishes, a welcoming place with attention to detail.
The owners are incredibly kind and skilled at making guests feel at home.
We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We were passing through after visiting Puglia by motorbike, in conclusion we started looking for a place where we could eat well and pay fair price. Here it is in Manduria (TA) the Messapian trattoria satisfied all our needs, staff, cuisine, dishes, location, everything was top, I only stayed one night but I would go back for another 100 just to taste their dishes again

It is a typical Italian restaurant, our waiter spoke only Italian and was very helpful. We had the orecchiette which was very tasty and and the grilled tuna which was recommended by our waiter. The vegetables of the day were a bit salty however.
