I don't usually post a review unless I'm thoroughly impressed (I do not like to leave negative reviews that may affect people's livelihood -- everyone's got to feed their families!). The Penne Fibus was outstanding in freshness, taste and presentation. I would order this again even though it makes me want to try their other dishes. The staff was very polite and the restaurant has a family-run charm to it. Afterwards, I read a ridiculous google review that actually complained about a particular dish not being authentic. Was it authentic? I don't know and I don't care -- the food was outstanding! I'll definitely recommend it to all my family and friends.

Wonderful service. Kamel showed us the fresh fish he had that day and suggested how our choice should be cooked. The waitress suggested a great wine to pair with it.

Excellent dinner, I hadn't been there in a year. We had penne alla fibus and a fantastic risotto alla pescatore. Kamel is always kind.

A lovely place near the Aretusa Fountain. The staff, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, were extremely helpful and friendly. We waited quite a while for our food, but I really appreciated their attention to the customer, which is why I'm giving it a full 5. Two things struck me: the first was when my daughter, a newborn, fell asleep in the stroller. The dining room staff paid special attention to her, which amazed me. The second was when they brought the main courses to the table and I had to run to the beginning of Ortigia to renew my ticket for the car. In this case, they didn't leave the cold dish but took it back, and when I returned 20 minutes later, they waited for me and remade the dish I had chosen. They showed truly incredible customer service. Thank you, thank you, thank you, great! We'll definitely be back.

A quiet and very charming place. We had an excellent first course, "Linguine Mergellina," which wasn't on the menu, and a second course with a very fresh Sicilian salad. Recommended

Mangiare da Kamel è sempre un esperienza unica...sono stato travolto dai sapori,dai colori e dai profumi unici della sua cucina... Il couscos buonissimo e anche i pesci...ottimi i primi....

19/09/2025: Excellent coffee shop and terrace restaurant. The family managing it this summer was so kind, friendly and welcoming. They made you feel like a part of their family :) Always so cheerful and smiling. I ate here every day during my trip to Follonica and cannot wait to come back next year. The food is delicious and service is excellent. The views of the beach, especially at sunset, are the cherry on top!
27/08/2025: I was there on vacation alone, and the entire staff made me feel like part of the family! They spoiled me, pampered me, entertained me, and fed me wonderfully. I've never had such a welcome anywhere! The restaurant is run by the most cheerful and colorful family I've ever met! I had a wonderful time in their company; they are fabulous, and their dishes, mind-blowingly delicious! I'll always have wonderful memories of them all and those delicious paccheri! Thanks guys, I'll never forget you!!! Fantastic!
