An unexpected and exciting discovery. Without a doubt, the best Cassoeula I've had so far. The staff was friendly and welcoming. My only criticism was the desserts, which were quickly forgotten with the single-serve Storica Nera. An experience worth repeating, in fact, I'd say next week. I'm booking now.

From cured meats to first courses, all the way to traditional second courses and homemade desserts, every course has that sincere flavor reminiscent of Sunday lunches. The staff is also welcoming and creates a family atmosphere, where you truly feel at home. Excellent value and authentic Brianza cuisine that's absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well, without compromise, and rediscover local traditions.

At noon, I ordered cassoeula for all my guests. It was excellent, although it didn't include the traditional parts like the snout and foot (not everyone likes them). The cabbage was cooked to perfection, both the crunchy side dishes and the ones cooked alongside the meat. The polenta was well-made and flavorful. We ordered second courses, finishing with a taste of polenta and Zola, and to finish, a delicious chocolate salami that I hadn't had in a long time. The house wine was pleasant, but there's a very respectable selection to choose from. The atmosphere, somewhere between a bar and a trattoria, is pleasant, historic, and well-renovated. Unfortunately, they gave us a table on the enclosed veranda, but there's also a room (or maybe two) that's nicely furnished, more like a restaurant. The owners/managers were friendly, and the service was quick and very courteous. I'll definitely try it again to try other specialties. Recommended.
