Elegant environment, friendly but also professional service, local dishes prepared with skill. We went a few weeks ago with my husband, I am in a wheelchair and the owner did her best to find me a comfortable and easily accessible place in their beautiful room. Everything really was excellent. We'll be back.

Elegant Ligurian trattoria with southern influences on the main street parallel to the seafront in the pedestrian center of Loano. You can definitely find parking in the back. Good cuisine, popular local labels, attentive and courteous service in an intimate and refined environment with appreciated musical background, with adequate quality-price. Highly recommended: peppered mussels, tuna tac tac and octopus, snow peas and potato salad. Personally one of the best places to dine in Loano. Ritornare in questo tempio gastronomico mi da sempre un piacevole brivido. Quasi 50 anni di frequentazione, da quando lo zio Noè (che non era quello dell'arca) ci introdusse in questo ristorante nel pieno centro di Loano. Mezzo secolo di accoglienza, di garbata cortesia, di evoluzione dei menù, però sempre fedeli alla tradizione ligure. In un mondo caotico, dove i punti di riferimento vengono a mancare ogni giorno, la vecchia trattoria ci accoglie ogni volta con calore, come se il figliuol prodigo fosse tornato a casa, finalmente. Ed in effetti raggiungerlo è qualcosa di biblico, più che attraversare il deserto del Sinai, almeno se parti dalla riviera di Levante. La A10 non ci è amica ma se accogliete la sfida la ricompensa supererà tutti i sacrifici, potete crederci.

The reason for the only 2 stars for the food is quickly explained. Out of 3 courses, 2 had a problem, and I'm not talking about criticism from Masterchef, I'm not up to par and I'm not a chef. The truffle tagliatelle (which I'm sure were fresh) had a buttery taste that overpowered ANY other flavour. Not tasting the truffle (or even smelling it) I wonder if it was there. The fish on the children's menu had dangerous bones. however the portions were generous. A third and final course had the flaw of costing decidedly too much, €10.00 for a slice of cocoa cake. It was good, soft, accompanied by a "broth" on which it was placed. I don't remember if that broth was supposed to be a cream from the menu description but at least it managed to tone down the bite which was dry despite how good it was. €10.00 is honestly a bit too much for the desserts, also because I haven't read any particular reinterpretations or processes (from the menu). Although they welcome children, the atmosphere and environment in general is not very suitable. At the end of the day: 2 first courses (one of which with fish), a children's course, fried potatoes and breaded sea bass, a slice of cocoa cake, still water and a glass of white wine = €99.00. However, the children's menu is a single course with at most a side dish on the same plate, it is not a menu with a first or second course and a bottle of water and/or dessert. The service is quick and impeccable, the place is also nice with dinner music in the background and at a low volume. There is certainly no place for a stroller near the table but they make it left closed at the entrance.

Abbiamo mangiato insalata di seppie con carciofi e calamarata con dentice e carciofi. Sapori delicati, fatti bene, e gentilezza.
