Perhaps the most Florentine trattoria in Florence... friendliness, friendliness, excellent food (the "Fiorentina" is spectacular 😍) and fair prices for all budgets!! I recommend booking a few days in advance because the place is always full (a sign of validity and excellent value for money)

Got lucky and got a reservation for lunch at short notice. From the moment you walk in , you get a very traditional feel from the restaurant. Small round tables and chairs, handwritten menu in italian, and open kitchen where you can see the chefs do their work. Went for the traditional Florentine steak for two. What followed was a perfect (giant) steak cooked to medium-rare. The meat was not only big in terms of size, but also flavor. The steak was charred to perfection on the outside, with the inside still unbelievably tender. Do not go to Florence without stopping at Trattoria Mario for lunch, highly recommended.

A place well known in Florence for the delicacy of its dishes. Very close to the Central Market. It is preferable to book because it is super popular with both Florentines and tourists. The atmosphere is rustic and family-run and the food is really good. The meat, although cooked rare, melts like butter. We ordered peposo scottona fillet, cantucci chips and the famous sweet chocolate Bacione di Firenze. Highly recommended

una grande intramontabile classico sempre di buon livello…. al piano terra grandi tavoli da condividere con altri….mentre nelle cantine tavoli anche privati menù schietto della tradizione con piatti ben eseguiti…. ottima pasta con ragù d’anitra,buona ribollita. sui secondi…. cosa dire se non bistecca fantastica? con fagioli all’olio o all’uccelletto? rapporto qualità servizio gentilezza e prezzo eccellente

La qualità della carne è eccezionale, quasi indescrivibile. L’attesa è abbastanza breve. Il personale è molto efficiente e simpatico. Qualità/Prezzo eccellente. Vivamente consigliato per amici e famiglie.

Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the winery, the setting is nothing short of idyllic. The food was exceptional, with the lamb cutlets standing out as a particular highlight. The wine, as expected from a winery of this caliber, was exquisite. Each glass was a journey through the rich history and expertise of Marchesi Antinori. The selection was thoughtfully curated to complement the menu perfectly. Our waitress was knowledgeable and delightful, adding to the overall exceptional experience. Her recommendations and insights, and her friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. In summary, Rinuccio 1180 is a must-visit. Whether for the stunning views, the incredible food, or the outstanding service, I would recommend this restaurant a thousand times over.

29/08/2024: Best night. The setting was magical, the staff were amazing and the musicians just had us singing and dancing all night! Oh the food! Best meal i have had in Italy. Having the different wines explained and with which meal to have them was a bonus!
25/08/2024: There is now a restaurant in the Machia Valley yard. The taste is not important, and although the time is different from Machia Valley, it stands in the same space. It is a meaningful space just because the monarchy theory was established around here.
