Trattoria Mario In Firenze

I made a reservation through Instagram DM. They said T-bones start at 1.3 kilos, so we both ordered a 1 kilo of the L-bone. The steak was absolutely delicious. I can't stop thinking about it. And the fries were absolutely delicious. A half-liter of house wine was perfect for two. This was the most memorable restaurant of my trip.

What's the deal...? The photos turned out great. I made a reservation, so I went right in without waiting. The data connection is low, so search for the menu before you go in~ The meat was really tender. I ordered a bottle of house wine. The wine I bought at the supermarket was delicious. ^^

Great experience. The quality of the meat was great. Also the service. We have a baby in the stroller, although tre restaurant is small and busy they managed to find a place for us.

We've been to Trattoria Mario several times, and it's always a satisfying experience. Besides the genuine Florentine welcome, the food is divine. The dishes are traditional, the flavors are exhilarating, and the quality is excellent. The Florentine steak is special, and the trippa lampredotto is a must. The side dishes are also mouthwatering and delicious. A must. For those visiting Florence from out of town, it's a must. However, you need to be prepared for a true wine bar experience. There aren't many tables, and they're close together, so sometimes you're sitting next to other diners. We think it's a pleasure and encourages conviviality. Those expecting a classic restaurant might not appreciate it, but that's definitely a mistake. The welcoming atmosphere and the ambiance also make this trattoria a must.

The best place for lunch, the beef stew with wine in particular was out of this world. You should make a reservation beforehand but it is 100% worth it. Cooking is simple but hits the spot just right. The atmosphere is very cozy.

Excellent, historic trattoria in Florence. We loved the informal, homey atmosphere. Excellent menu and friendly service. Good traditional dishes. Reasonable bill. Friendly, down-to-earth staff, just the way we like it...keep it up!

Ho scoperto Trattoria Mario grazie al programma TV "4 Ristoranti" e, incuriosito, ho iniziato a leggere diverse recensioni online che continuavano a elogiare questa storica osteria fiorentina. Un week end a Firenze è stata l’occasione perfetta per provarla di persona – e devo dire che le aspettative sono state ampiamente superate. Il piatto forte? Senza dubbio la fiorentina: squisita, cotta alla perfezione e servita con semplicità, come la tradizione comanda. Accanto a questo capolavoro, abbiamo assaggiato anche le patate al prezzemolo, un contorno semplice ma delizioso, e la torta della nonna, un dolce che sa davvero di casa. Locale rustico, autentico, con un’atmosfera vivace e conviviale. Consigliato assolutamente, ma prima di andarci è fondamentale consultare il loro sito: gli orari di apertura possono variare e non sempre è facile trovare posto senza organizzarsi in anticipo.
