In the center of Faenza, a long-established osteria serving simple yet hearty dishes. The ambiance is truly beautiful: the large fireplace dominates, instilling a sense of authenticity. The cuisine focuses on great Romagna classics, all delicious from appetizer to dessert. Friendly service, and the bill is not insignificant.

A magnificent discovery! The welcome is very warm, the food is succulent. The prices are more than reasonable. You can go there with your eyes closed!

Delicious barbecue with pork and veal meat and mixed grilled vegetables.
11 july: two barbecue grills, one with mixed meat and the second with mutton (filet, ribs and leg) and Sangiovese wine. Delicous, well-cooked, perfectly salted, and topped with some aro,amici herbs. Perfect, in my humble opinion.

You can't go to Faenza without having a meal at the legendary Marianaza. An ancient place, much more than historic, run by Natascia with her sister Luana, daughters of the legendary Mariangela. A place that preserves the scents and sensations of times gone by. A small place that offers a sort of conviviality with the nearby tables. Nothing to say about the food: homemade Romagna excellence. Those who have not been to Faenza have missed out on much of what Romagna food and hospitality mean.

Place I had passed by a while ago where I had not had lunch because it was fully booked: this time, moving a little early, I made it... and it was really worth it: piada with lard, homemade giardiniera, mutton, pasta and beans and, to conclude, an EXCELLENT tripe ♥️
I have not tried the cellar out of respect for my driving license but, soon, I will come BY TRAIN. Spectacular!
