Rick Steve's suggests walking a couple blocks past the main roads to find hidden treasures. As we were walking, a very nice man suggested we eat at his restaurant. They had some great dinner specials.
Was our first night in Venice. We were hungry. Found we really enjoyed this. Waiter was knowledgeable and suggested a way to have more wine and a lesser cost. Owner/manager treated us to limoncello after our meal. Everything was delicious. Service was nicely paced - not rushed but fast enough that we didn't fall asleep waiting.
We really liked this place.
