The food was excellent and the service was incredibly friendly. As a Bengali, it was a lovely surprise to meet a fellow Bengali working there—he was warm and very accommodating. The restaurant also offers halal steak options, which I really appreciated, and it turned out to be one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a halal Florentine steak.

The food is delicious! We had meatballs, boar ragu, ravioli and panzanella. The service is exquisite, the staff is super profesional and friendly. If i had my own restaurant I would totally try to steal the waiter that was looking after us, because he offered the best service i have experienced in a long time (and I go to restaurants quite often so I know what I’m talking about).

Wir hatten von unserem italienischen Reisebüro einige Restauranttipps bekommen darunter auch Mamma Gina. Die Infos sprachen an und so wurde hier das zweite Abendessen eingenommen. Tisch wurde online vorreserviert, Achtung, es kam am erwählten Tag noch mal eine Mail, ob es dabei bleibt, man behält sich ohne Rückmeldung vor, die Reservierung zu streichen. Unschön für Touristen die die Mail übersehen. Aber das Essen war lecker. Sehr sogar. Meine Frau erfreute sich an den Gnoccis und ich mich an einer verdammt guten Hühnerbrust in einer leckeren Cognac Pilz Sosse. Die Panacotta zum Schluss auch sehr gut.

Ristorante storico vicino Ponte Vecchio.
Locale semplice con piatti genuini della tradizione Toscana.
Antipasto misto per due abbondante e di qualità.
Le tagliate rucola e Grana e al tartufo sono risultate ottime.
Anche il fritto non unto e leggero molto buono.
