This place was so good my wife literally cried while eating it! Delicious truffle and pistachio pasta. The meat was quite rare/blue but but the taste was 10/10
The meatball appetizer was also phenomenal!

I didn't get the name of our server, I can tell you she was a little older, she was wonderful. I speak a little Italian and when I spoke to her she really took care of us. She explained the meals and how it was prepared with a mix of Italian and English. The food was exceptional, we had Pasta Fagioli, Ossobuco, and Gnocchi with a Ragu sauce. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the meal, service and atmosphere. I hope someone reads this and I hope they figure out which server was ours. 5 stars across the board!

Best Florentine Steak bistecca in our week here! It was so good we had to have it twice. The seasoning at this place is lighter than others that we have tried, which leaves much more room for the natural taste of the beef steak to shine. The meat was so tender, not unnecessarily chewy, and the T-bone - wow - Absolute showstopper with the fragrance of fat and rare meat with a hint of marrow.
It doesn’t leave you too greasy as well. Amazing and masterful Florentine steak.
The roasted potatoes were cooked well but too heavily salted for our liking. House wine was good.

Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Florence. You’ll notice this place is a little less busy than nearby restaurants, but not because it is less tasty. This is a huge place in a traditional Florence tavern with a cave-like stone ceiling. The food was so delicious — try the bean soup and flan from the appetizer menu!

Wir hatten von unserem italienischen Reisebüro einige Restauranttipps bekommen darunter auch Mamma Gina. Die Infos sprachen an und so wurde hier das zweite Abendessen eingenommen. Tisch wurde online vorreserviert, Achtung, es kam am erwählten Tag noch mal eine Mail, ob es dabei bleibt, man behält sich ohne Rückmeldung vor, die Reservierung zu streichen. Unschön für Touristen die die Mail übersehen. Aber das Essen war lecker. Sehr sogar. Meine Frau erfreute sich an den Gnoccis und ich mich an einer verdammt guten Hühnerbrust in einer leckeren Cognac Pilz Sosse. Die Panacotta zum Schluss auch sehr gut.
