Trattoria Maggio In Chioggia

Restaurant located in the historic center of Chioggia. The menu features only excellent seafood. We stopped by chance; the place is small but cozy. The owners are friendly and kind. I recommend it.

The fish was very good; the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the prices were fair. We tried the blue crab moleche with polenta, spaghetti with sea urchins and bottarga, fisherman's paccheri, cuttlefish in ink with polenta, and mixed fried fish.

Even at a small restaurant in a foreign town with no English menu, the wait staff patiently and intelligently helped us complete our order. The food was delivered with great care, catering to our Asian sharing habits while also respecting its own unique quality. This is truly commendable.

A beautiful restaurant, decorated with attention to detail. It's located on a small side street. We received a very warm welcome and ordered rigatoni with tuna, a seafood platter, and grilled sea bream. Each dish was a poem. For dessert, we had a refreshing lemon sorbet and vanilla ice cream with raisins soaked in amaretto. Lovingly prepared and delicious. To finish, we were served a selection of small liqueurs and even grappa. The owner and the two charming ladies are so friendly, and you can just tell that everything is made with love. ❤️ Best, the three Hamburgers

We had lunch outside along the alley. The table didn't have a cotton tablecloth, just a placemat. The daily menu wasn't extensive, but the food was good and served courteously. The price was average for the area.

The food was very good, the service was excellent and the setting was lovely, with the background music giving it a nice atmosphere.
